You know what's super sad about all this? If these stupid break up rumours had never happened, that article and shoot would've been a beautiful way for them to fully introduce their relationship into the public sphere. I think they did it because they knew how popular they were as a couple but they really wanted to try and set the boundaries and talk about it in their own way. Obviously they never hid their relationship but this was their full "coming out" if you will. They finally had the courage to show their love off a little.

How great an example are they for future celeb couples- you can be your own person. You don’t have to fall into this media/Hollywood rat trap of selling out your relationship for attention. The woman can be her own person and not the girlfriend of so-in-so. You can create your own way of handling press and throw it back in their face if they try and tell lies about you.
