he leaves cute little notes everywhere. when you wake up in the morning and he’s left for practice you’ll find a post-it note on the bedside table, wishing you a good morning with a scruffily drawn heart at the bottom. or when you go downstairs to the kitchen and there’s one on the fridge telling you he’s used the rest of the milk and that he’ll buy it on his way home — with a lil ‘i love you’ written at the end. and when you open one of his books you borrowed, there’s annotations scribbled around it ; like when the two love interests are having their moment and besides it in his handwriting is a small “me n u” . what a cutie </3

cooking !! mingyu loves you , he loves cooking. like on your first date you went to his house and he cooked you a meal that he recalls you said you really liked, or when you’re sad, generally upset — he’ll make your comfort meal that your parent would make for you back at home. on your birthday he’s cooking so much of your favourite foods and serving them to you with a huge grin on his face — and the holidays are always his favourite time of the year bc he gets to prepare food and eat w his loved ones :” -(

music :-) he has a playlist titled your name with a bunch of songs that remind him of you or your relationship and he listens to it a lot — especially when he’s away and misses you :”-((( a lot of his own music is based off of you, he tends to think of you when writing lyrics and will surprise you when he’s finished, smiling at you bashfully when you gasp in delight, a huge grin plastered on your face throughout the whole song. he takes your song recommendations very seriously too — gives his own lil reviews on them too hehe.

being the leader — he deals with this v well. he’ll cancel any dance practices or meetings so that he can look after you, much to hoshi’s dismay. v calm and gentle towards you, not wanting you to feel any worse than you already do. doesn’t care about if he’ll get sick, he NEEDS to have you tucked away in his arms — especially since it helps you fall asleep.

one of the rare times jeonghan won’t be an annoying, teasing menace. he likes to take care of people — won’t let you out of your bed if you’re really sick and will run around the house getting anything you need. gives you your meds as he sits next to you on the bed, running his hand over your burning hot forehead with a pitiful frown :((

kinda scared about getting sick but it’s you so — it doesn’t actually matter to him. always giving you your medicine, making sure you drink lots and lots of water to help you recover quickly. if you’re struggling to sleep, he’ll pull you on top of him, making you rest your head in the crook of his neck as he reads out one of his favourite books to you :-((

wants to scold you about overworking yourself into sickness, but he knows that’d be hypocritical of him — so he takes a break from his work to tend to you. when you fall asleep out of exhaustion, he’ll sneak back to his computer to get back to work, but you always end up crawling back into his lap a few hours later and falling straight back asleep — which just absolutely pulls at his heartstrings!

feels so bad for his lil baby </3 his main goal is to probably keep you as cheerful as you can be — making you smile and laugh however he can, always entertaining you. he’s very gentle with you too, his touches are very delicate and like hoshi he’s always cooing at you, pinching at your puffed cheeks and he can’t help but pepper your face with kisses.

he’s gonna beat you up if you step a foot out of bed! not rlly but when he finds you coming out of the bedroom to find some medicine downstairs he literally picks you up by the waist and puts you back into bed. “you’re not allowed to leave bed — you’re sick! i will go get the medicine.” he scolds and furrows his brows. when he comes back he’ll wrap you up in his arms & try to lull you to sleep, tracing gentle patters across the exposed parts of your skin.

he definitely gets super clingy and annoying when he’s jealous. you’re talking to an old school friend and to be fair you’ve been talking for a little while now. soonyoung is trying to be patient but he can’t help but feel this jealousy fester in him, he just wants your attention after all :( he grabs ahold of your hand, rests his chin on top of your head, wraps his arms around your waist — anything to try and get your attention but you’re not budging. “baby…” he murmurs in your ear for the nth time and you just huff and turn to give him a fiery glare, but feel bad almost immediately because there’s such a sad look in his eyes. “you’ve been ignoring me for a while now.” he says with such an upset tone in his voice and omg could he make you feel any guiltier ? so you apologise to him quietly and bid your friend farewell before dragging soonyoung home & apologising with an extra bit of affection <3

♡ JUNHUI

this can go two ways depending on his mood. he’ll either a) become very smug and confident, being very openly ( and uncomfortably ) affectionate with you in-front of your friend barely even giving you a chance to talk through all of the kisses he’s giving you. or he’ll b) become very closed off and quiet, very moody. you’ll have to pull him to the side and ask him what’s up since he’s got this obvious scowl on his face. he’ll very openly admit that he’s jealous and you’ll just kind of sigh, giving him a smile before cupping his face, leaning up on your tip-toes to give him a short series of kisses and that’s enough to make jun feel better — and he’s just praying that your friend was watching that :0

well you’re definitely gonna know he’s annoyed … like he’s so obvious with his snappy answers, that awfully obvious frown on his face — angry furrowed eyebrows. you would be lying if you said didn’t find it a little amusing, after all the stranger only returned your wallet with a little smile … and slipped his number in but how were you meant to know ? you’re just cling to minghao’s shoulder giggling, trying to get him out of his mood. “minghaooo! you watched me throw the piece of paper in the bin — i don’t care about him! stop being moody with me!” you whine with a quiet laugh but he just continues to walk in silence with his angry face. so you huff, pull yourself off his arm, “fine, i might as well get his number out of the bin — i’m sure he wouldn’t ignore me!” you tease, and pretend to walk to the direction of the bin and sure enough minghao snatches you back by the waist, guiding you along whilst he mumbles to himself something along the lines of you being an idiot :”)

♡ DINO

he’s just sad :”( he doesn’t really know what to do in the situation — you’re sat right next to him, his arm tight around your waist and you’re leaned slightly into his touch, yet this man still continues to flirt with you like it’s nothing. he understands you’re just trying to be polite by responding to this man ( with very blunt responses ) but he still can’t help this sadness that the jealousy brings with itself. subconsciously, his hold on you gets tighter and he’s pulling you closer and the man finally gets the hint, wondering off. you turn to chan with a frown bc you know it’s upset him, and you apologise — taking your hand in his. dino shakes his head with a gentle smile, “ahh. why are you apologise, silly ? not your fault that men are just plain rude .. hm.” he’s definitely bitter, but doesn’t direct it at you. makes sure to pepper your face with a few kisses every time a man is near, looking you up and down — just so they definitely know!

stupidly obvious when he’s jealous. you’ll both be sat in bed and a picture of your favourite idol will come up on your phone and you’re thrashing around in bed, gushing about him to your boyfriend — who’s sat very unamused. when you calm down and try and chat to him again he’ll playfully brush you off. “ohhh finally remembered you have a boyfriend huh? nah, why don’t you run along to taeyong — you were all about him a few seconds ago!” he scoffs, pushing you off of him as he bites back a smile, although your giggles make him cave, and he’s pulling you into his arms with an eye-roll, and a half amused smile :”) but he doesn’t wanna hear you talk about taeyong again … ever !

♡ WONWOO

he just goes deadly silent. like you’re talking to your friend and you don’t really realise how fast time is going by and how long you’ve been talking — and you finally bid him bye, when you turn to wonwoo he’s just straight faced silent. you recall not hearing a single word from him that whole conversation, but you’re unsure wether that’s a problem or wether he’s just being his usual introverted self. you try and continue your previous conversation with him but all your responses are blunt and short and you then kinda get what the problem is. you’ll stop in the middle of the street, hand pulling him back to you and you lean on your tip-toes, pressing a chaste kiss onto his lips as you tell him not to worry. he’ll then feel a lot better, and a little silly, and will soon revert back to his usual self <3

♡ MINGYU

this man is a little baby. like he’s gonna sulk so hard ! why did the waiter have to flirt with you — right in front of him ? and why did you just sit there with an awkward smile. mingyu understands you’re very attractive but .. where’s the respect ? he’s kinda just moping across from you, slumped in his seat with his arms crossed and a huge frown on his face and you just kinda sigh. “mingyu, don’t be moody.” you plead, and he opens his mouth to justify his behaviour but you quickly interrupt. “i’m on a date with you, right ? let’s not ruin it because of some waiter calling me pretty.” you tell him and he’ll stay quiet for a little longer before warming back up to you again — feeling bad because he doesn’t actually wanna ruin your date ..

♡ VERNON

like wonwoo, vernon just goes silent. and again, vernon is always really quiet anyway so you don’t notice at first. but also, vernon really tries to hide his jealousy, because he doesn’t like the feeling & he thinks it’s petty — but he can’t help the weird feeling in his chest when you just won’t stop texting this boy at your work. it takes you a little while to notice vernon’s change in mood because again, he’s always so quiet anyway — but the sad look in his eyes as he watches the tv gives it away, and you realise you’ve kinda been neglecting him for this boy at work, not on purpose of course. you quickly shut your phone off and sheepishly crawl over into his arms. he doesn’t push you off, he happily takes you into his embrace, but there’s still a little frown on his face, but all it takes is a few kisses to wipe it off :”)

minghao knows there’s something wrong as soon as you walk through the front door. the way your shoulders are slumped and your eyes are heavy and dull. he’s weary at first, unsure whether he should come and comfort you or leave you to yourself for a little while — but his dilemma is solved when you drop your bag to the floor and peel out of your coat, immediately crawling into your boyfriends arms.

“hi there lovely, are you ok?” he asks you, with a rasp in his voice. your eyes flutter shut at the mere sound of his voice, finding comfort and serenity in the sound. you struggle to pick an answer at first — do you cry and yell ? vent about the struggles at work, how tired you are, how shitty you feel — or do you simply nod your head and suppress it all ? but, it’s seems through the concern in minghao’s tone, that he already knows all too well, that you’re not okay. so you huff, shake you head whilst burying your face into his neck. “why don’t you tell me what’s going on, hm?” he prompts you.

you’re silent for a little while because you don’t know where to start. but once you do, you can’t manage to get yourself to stop — each topic brings up another and now you’ve been ranting for so many minutes! you know that minghao doesn’t mind though, he’s listening to intently with hums & nods to let you know that he’s still listening. his hand never stops combing your hair, twisting the ends around his finger. by the time you’ve finished your vent — your eyes are glossed over with tears of frustration and upset, but your heart feels much more lighter than before you came home.

you finally look up at minghao, but his eyes are already searching for yours. his eyebrows are drawn upwards and there’s a vague frown cast upon his lips. his hand that rested on your hip travels up to cup one side of your face, the pad of his thumb grazing gently over the apples of your cheek — and he gives you a soft, slightly sad, smile.

“you know, i would do anything to keep you happy. you don’t deserve to feel so shitty, and burdened. really — curse this world for putting it all on your shoulders.” he sighs, with so much gloominess, you wonder for a few seconds if he’s more upset about your circumstances than you are. but you know his words are true, minghao always gets truly upset if you are and treats your problems as his own. that’s why you can only give a weak laugh over how sad this makes him.

“yeah. the world is very cruel to a lot of us,” you hum and settle your head back into the crook of his neck, your hand reaching to trace over the beat of his heart. “but you know what ? i forgive the world, because it gave me you.”

minghao can feel the immediate blush that spreads all across his face and down to his chest — and he only hopes you don’t feel the increase of his heart rate on your finger-tips. he can’t help but react to your words by littering your face with so many sweet & giggly kisses, from your forehead right down to the low of your jaw. and if your words weren’t enough, his heart swells even more at the song of your laughter when you playfully try fight him off.

“ah, you’re so good with your words — maybe i should start forgiving the world too then ? or perhaps thank it instead.” minghao hummed, pressed your cheeks between his thumb and his fingers and squishing them — kissing your forcefully pouted lips. “i love you. you know that ?”

the second he gets a phone call from you at 10PM he’s already kinda concerned because you never call him after work unless it’s important. then, he hears your distressed voice — telling him someone’s following you. you best know this man is out the door and in his car in seconds, driving to your whereabouts. by the time he gets to you, the man is gone from behind you — most likely hearing you on the phone to someone, but seungcheol swears if he got ahold of that guy !! he puts his anger to one side though, and focuses on getting you home safe and sound.

♡ WONWOO

like he is in majority of situations, wonwoo remains very calm and collected — despite how panicked he feels inside. tells you to stay on the phone to him as he sprints walks to where you are, meeting you half-way. his phone is clutched so tightly in his hands he thinks it might snap in half. he finally finds you — and the man behind you immediately makes a u-turn for the nearest alleyway and wonwoo considers going after him, but decided against it as you’re just so shaken up rn, and he needs to get you home. he breathes a sigh of relief before pulling you into his arms, running a hand soothingly through your hair.

♡ MINGYU

mingyu already is waiting in his car for you in the empty parking lot behind your work. you told him that you’d be a few minutes and that you needed to grab a few things from the shop — but he didn’t expect you to come back, practically clawing the car door open in panic. he’s looking at you with wide eyes, silently asking what’s wrong and then he looks up to find some man fleeing in the opposite direction and he grasps a clue. immediately comforts you, his hand running soothingly up and down your back as he whispers that you’re ok. now you’re not allowed to go anywhere with out him during the night …

♡ VERNON

??? he’s so confused when you come home, shoving yourself through the door and slamming it closed behind you. and before he can even get a word of question out, you’ve ran straight into his arms — crying weakly as you babbled on about how there was someone stalking you all the way home and how paranoid you are now. vernon is definitely shocked and vv pissed that someone has made you so scared that you’re physically trembling under him. he gives you a few soft kisses against the temple of your head, muttering about how you’re okay — and then he takes your hand and guides you through the house, letting you see that every door and window is shut and locked.
