i can not and i mean i can not stress this enough… make a bibliography as you do your research. i mean, make a fully formed, correctly cited bibliography as you work. just do it. i know i know you’re being lazy or you hate making citations or you’ll just get to it later or you don’t want to get distracted etc etc etc

whatever your reasons just make the fuckin bibliography

and while im at it… put the footnotes in properly as you are writing. just… do it. for future you. please. for your sanity. do it.

#best advice ever like prep your footnotes as well as you're doing research keep it all in another document so all you've got to do #after that is just copy paste and add the right page number #you don't know how much time i gained on my master's thesis doing this #and i was still pulling my hair out moving stuff around and making sure everything was right #just write it up as you go it's such a gain of time #you'll thank yourself afterwards #also there are tools you can use that write up your bibliography for you once you've entered all relevant information once #half the people i graduated with used EndNote for their thesis #and i think that it allows you to directly add the footnote already formated correctly #just write up your bibliography as you go it really is a game changer
