•Evie was nicknamed as the “Hunter” by her peers when they were trapped in the woods. She was the main hunter of the group. Not just with animals, but with each other when it came to food during the winter period. However, due to desperation her peers grew inpatient and decided to try and catch her which resulted in her fleeing and being able to get away.

•She arrived a year before the Matthews. And for almost a year she would talk with the monsters outside due to curiosity, but she never opened the door for them. There were times she even pretended like she would only to tease and joke with them. Not letting them inside.

•Despite this she does enjoy their company in a twisted way. Especially over time, but she also knows they would eat her alive if given the chance. Even though they try their hardest she does not crack. (Which the monsters are both annoyed and impressed by). Evie doesn’t trust her fellow humans due to her experiences so she definitely doesn’t trust them (at least not yet). Especially after she has seen the aftermath of their brutality.

•And the horrific part was that the bodies gave her a sense of familiarity which horrifies her and spikes her curiosity even more. She recognizes the violence due to her past in the woods. Starving and desperate, but also angry and willing to lash out on those who didn’t have the survival instincts. Though she didn’t have a smile on her face when she had killed someone for survival…so that’s the difference.

•The only reason the monsters finally get contact with her is due to the mistake of someone else. She doesn’t let them inside. Evie was at the colony house when the incident with Kevin and Jasmine occurred due to someone asking her out, but they ended up abandoning her shortly after which resulted in her sleeping alone in one of the bedrooms on the higher floors of colony house due to getting drunk due to her reaction to being abandoned.

•Eve arrived in Fromville a year before the Matthews arrive. She also thankfully arrived during the day with all of her stuff due to the timing of her finally getting her own place. So she was one of those rare people who was unintentionally prepared.

•The one who sat her down was Father Khatri. He was the one that gave her the whole stick and she chose the town.

•In despite of her being raised in a cult she also went to the services he had. Even though her views of God were mixed due to her upbringing she still believed in the supernatural and that there is more to this world than what we see. Aka Fromville as a whole.

•What led to Evie running away was her nearly being assaulted by her future husband. She got away just in time.

•Years earlier when she was only a teenager being trapped in the woods caused her to have weird eating habits. She will go a while without eating before she eats a ton and will do the same thing over again. This is due to how in the wilderness she ate this way for a year to survive and once you do that long enough it becomes a habit. A habit that she has even when she’s in Fromville. But she’s trying to break out of it.

•Evie has a few hobbies which involve photography, roller skating, journaling, doodling (she’s good at it but she isn’t considered a professional), and playing the harmonica.
