Really hope we get a scene of Armand showing Daniel the place he's been staying at because I want him to be all awkward around him + it'll be nice to let the audience know that his style isn't minimalist since everyone wants to blame him for how cold the Dubai penthouse was.

Yes, it was a representation of their relationship. But the decoration was a team effort and there's no denying that the more they fought, the less it felt like an actual home.

Doesn't help that they were both in their capitalist era. The furniture wasn't selected for any other reason than selling it afterwards.

The floating bookshelves were probably part of their fucked up dynamic since the whole San Francisco situation.

Armand clearly took more of a controlling/possessive role because of the suicide attempt although Louis was still his maître.

"Will I be on suicide watch for the next 1,000 years?" "Mr. du Lac occasionally finds it difficult to talk about Claudia" "Could I see the pages we removed?" "We made an agreement".

And let's not forget how Armand wanted to stop the interview every time Louis lashed out at Daniel or remembered something painful.

It's so obvious that behaviour is coming from his abandonment issues, but the most annoying person you know will tell you he's just being an evil mastermind.

By the way, I'm not defending the psychological abuse. Keeping Louis in a bubble was toxic as fuck.

The thing is you can't excuse how Lestat treated him and Claudia because he was sexualized as a kid while calling Armand all sorts of names for going through worse shit than him.

Like you either understand the complexities of a victim becoming an abuser or not.

PS. I'm the first person to admit I have bias towards this topic because cheating is a hard no for me even in dark media, but c'mon.
