Women in sports struggle so much to be seen, respected and valued as athletes or any other job in those sports that majority men.

And it worries me so much because there is so much you can be as women than a wife or girlfriend. And personally seeing women being involved in sports and taking more space make me want to be so much as a kid and to dream so big. Like I never religiously watched tennis but Serena Williams and the impact she has even outside her sports did so much for me growing up.

Soooo I do hope and pray we will give more credits to women in sports when they are themselves athletes, journalists, coach, trainer, mechanics, engineers, etc instead of women who are in sports as extension of their partner.
