Yeah this was typed up awhile ago but still..!
Just a little imagination of what happened at the end, I probably wonāt write much dialogue but, considering she was between staying put and dying or leaving and never touching that tape again.
In the good and true ending she canāt remember a single thing about her time with Jack after she returns to her home. (Trapped in the tape I mean)
God would she be in therapy prontoāimmediate referral from her friendābecause she has a ton of memories that arenāt realā¦how does one go back in time and then forward?? To think she experienced two different lives is insane. Plus sheās got a fear of TV screensā¦no more 3D or 4D movie experiences. Especially vintage ones. Plus she probably becomes recluse, again itās hard to trust people when THE WHOLE TOWN WAS IN ON ITTTTT!!! EVERYONE BUT HER FRIENDS WERE TEAM JACK!!! š That just SUCKS man.
In the good ending, she immediately disposes of the tape. No way, Nuh uh. So in this āwhat ifā scenario, she continues with her boring life but with more depression and anxiety.
In the neutral ending however?
If she actually puts in the tape again??
ā¦AND remembers everything???
Problem. Woah!!! š We have a huge problem on our hands!!!
For one, sheās probably hiding in her room SOBBING. š ALL THAT TRAUMA CRAWLING OUT THE TV SIR GET BACK IN THAT TV NAOW!!! But this is SDJ, olāJacky boy got a second chance??? And she didnāt immediately call the cops?? (Granted, what does she even say? āThe guy who trapped me in the tv climbed out and is in my house!!!ā š„¹ chat sheās getting hung up on if she tried) Heās got the advantage and sheās horrified. I can imagine it takes hours of panicked hysterical sobbing on her end and constant reassurance and coaxing on his end for that door to unlock but
Sheās hiding under her bed and not leaving. She doesnāt care if she passes out under there GET AWAY! Battle of stubbornness! But at least he would explain himself and theyād have a much longer talk.
āNo no donāt āSunshineā me Jack! Did you even CARE? What..what did all of that mean to you!?ā
āIt meant everything, it was just as real to me as it was for you.ā
āBut it was also a lie.ā
āWe donāt have to let it be a lie though, I know we can make it work, just like always. I havenāt given up on us and I still wonāt, I promise.ā
She does at least learn that the relationship was the only real thing there.
But can you imagine the strain on her mind? Her life is a lie and the creator of said lie, A FIVE MONTH LONG LIE, IS IN HER BEDROOM!!! š Migraine immediately, and sheās close to losing itāand obviously Jack is aware of this and trying to deescalate it before that happens. Itās hard to help when youāre the problem šµāš«
Eventually her health will overwrite his need to give her space though, if her condition worsened when he leaves her alone (and it will) heās gotta get her out.
Chat I hate to say itā¦sheās getting burritoāed. Like many cats at the vet yes this does work on her and she will eventually just rest. Jack has like 3 days before her friends start calling and checking on her though so heās gotta crank up the manipulation and love bombing into HIGH GEARā
Probably also using the time to acclimate to her home which is equal parts adorable yet plainā¦and pink. Very very pink. Heād probably find it adorable if it werenāt for the fact sheās in a cocoon of fuzzy blankets sniffling and hiccuping. Heās just taking care of her as she just recovers and tries to form an opinion.
ā¦Does she get rid of him?
Heās not really a threat per-say but alsoā¦all that mess that went down inside the tape is still very fresh in her mind.
Obviously if her friends were there theyād tell her to get out of that house and away from him ASAP! But for some reasonā¦itās so so odd..she canāt find her phone. Crazy. Jack doesnāt know what a modern phones look like so thereās no point in asking himābesides heās busy making sure she at least eats before she runs the risk of making herself sick from stress.
Yeah he shouldāve waited to be in her room at all times but he didnāt want her running out. She still has her claws after all. Consequently, sheās been dependent on him to help her out. They were dating after all, so heās aware of what to doāwhich makes decision making a whole lot harderābecause he KNOWS how to get in her head and itās working. Most likely on that third day sheās accepted she doesnāt want to get rid of himā¦butā¦uhā¦sheās real wary of him.
I donāt think she could get rid of him in the end, not until she can get a moment to herself, something I doubt Jack would give her.
š£ļøTEAM TOXIC YAHOOā¼ļø
But I mean at least despite his awful manipulation he does get her to be a healthier personā¦justā¦one without much social interactionā¦.
The day. The DAY her friends sniff out Jackās influence on her behavior tho HIS TIME IS COMING. Cause he canāt get rid of them that easily, and he knows from the past theyāre not gonna be on his sideā¦.not unless heās smart about it (aka using Roryās existence in the tape, plus the threat of taking her back with himā¦can he do that? Maybe, they donāt know, so itās a gamble they arenāt going to make so easilyā¦which is what he needs)
A psychological war for her, for him, and for her friends to figure out what to do with him.
Either Jack wins or he doesnāt, itās really up to her to make that decision. (Either way she needs therapy. Badly.)
Quite the rollercoaster! And half of it is her running a high fever š boy oh boyā¦
Anyways thatās all I have!
