Update on Christian, We had our big consultation with GI. Mayo Pathology agreed that either a virus or allergic reaction to something caused the symptoms that started back on February 14th. Dr. Boardman wants Christian to begin walking and doing some movements toward getting his life back. The liver has completely clear up and back to normal. The lymph nodes are back to normal. The thyroid is back to normal. The adrenal and pituitary glands are back to normal. One thing remains a diagnosis of chronic pain for a 19 year old is hard to accept especially for his mother. We are very thankful for him to be off of all the steroids. He has an asthma action plan and does not have Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency. What a blessing and well worth the trip! Christian is blessed to be part of Biobank Research at Mayo that could benefit not only him but others as well. Mayo Clinic did not disappoint. It lived up to all the hype and more! What an incredible experience that we can talk about for years to come. God is good and He does not make mistakes. We only see in part but God sees eternity.
