       ”Hello!” a cheery voice responded from behind the other. A cheshire grin lay upon her lips. And a soft, welcoming look shined in gleeful eyes; yet beyond it hid the soft shimmer of despair.

Her soul gem has become tainted and corrupted

  “Good morning, Madoka."  Greeting her fellow classmate from afar, demanding eyes began to admire the girl’s appealing appearance inch by inch. There was always something so…captivating about the rosette. Her tender lips, those pastel strands hair, the vivid color that lays within her hopeful eyes, and— —- -

  Suddenly, snapping from her ideals thoughts, the devil now stood aside the figure she had just envisioned of; slender lips curling upwards. “..It’s quite chilly this morning, is it not ?”

     "Is it?" she asked, "I barely noticed."  The girl held out her hand, as if to feel the cold. It was indeed chilly. Perhaps she was so lost in thought everything went blank. Her fuchsia orbs shifted back towards the other's soft violet ones. She couldn't get over how familiar the ravenette looked. It gave her an almost eery feeling.

      "Say, Homura-chan, have you ever been to America?" asked Madoka. For all one knows, that could be where she met Homura before. Although, she could simply be imagining things.
