The supply shipment didn’t come in today. It was scheduled for 14:00 and just didn’t show up. The founders told us not to worry about it. Other than that, there’s really no news. I’ve spent all day in the garden. I’m tired, but tye founders told me it seems like I’m the only one who can get anything to grow very well here. Maybe it wouldn’t be so difficult for them if they remembered to water the plants once in awhile.

My name is Tovah Maine. I live in an orphanage called Saint John’s Home for Children, located on a moon called Icarus in the Galatea System of the Andromeda Galaxy. The year is 30XX. One of the founders told me they’d give me this journal if I shut up, so here I am! Honestly, the founders have been acting weird. Like they’re keeping some big secret from us. That is generally not a good thing, but hey, it doesn’t hurt to have a little hope.
