Mystical island formed from the body of a long dormant god? Check

Shapeshifting eldritch abomination villain with a god-complex that posed as the society's beloved authoritarian ruler and later possesses the body of the dormant island god for ultimate power? Check

Hot wise old mentor lady with a staff whose backstory involves being forcibly transformed into a violent half-beast form? Check

Particularly interesting was exploring Luz and Takua, and how at their core, they both have deep self-worth issues related to them being outcasts, but it drives them in opposite directions with the theme of destiny: Luz chases a destiny that was never real seeking validation, while Takua runs from a destiny he thinks he can't handle.

I figured out the exact opposite of cinnamon, which would defeat Mandy in the future: It’s salt. 

 I was watching the future episode of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and I was very sure that I figured out that cinnamon’s exact opposite is salt. Mandy must have made herself a worm/slug hybrid of some sorts.   

If you put salt on worms their skin dries out and they die. They secrete mucus, which keeps their skin moist. Mandy secretes mucus throughout the episode. 

Also, slugs also die when salt is put on them. So if they had just used salt on Mandy, she would be defeated. 

I am most definitely going to finish this run of Fantastic Four before the movie comes out.
