Prompt Twenty-One: Look to the Skies

This week look up and take inspiration from the skies.  Think about clouds, rain, the stars, moon, or even things we cannot see or understand yet.

Prompt Twenty: Self-Portrait

This week’s prompt is a classic but can be played with in so many ways.  For a self-portrait it can be taken literally with a drawing or photo or a little more symbolic with a collage of what makes you you. 

Maybe highlight a part of you that you love that isn’t your face: a mole on your neck, your hands after you just paint your nails, a tattoo that means a lot.

Prompt Nineteen: Journals

This week is less formal than previous weeks.  I often see people post images of the beautiful things they create within their notebooks/journals/Moleskins and I wanted to encourage you all to do the same.

For a week doodle, write, and create in whatever little book you can.  Nothing has to be a “perfect” complete piece, just share things you like the look of.  This can be a doodle you did in the margin of your class notes, the illustrations you did of little things you saw while having lunch, or even lists you write throughout the day (I know I am a list maker).  

Share some of these things.  Journals can be a great way to show others what you are like on a more casual, personal level than some of the prompts before.

Just have some fun!

Prompt Eighteen: Perspective

(As suggested by mypandemonium)

“creating something upside down or from a different/uncommon perspective like bird’s eye view or something of the sort.” 

So try to look at things with a different perspective.  Another suggestion I have for this challenge is to look at the negative space of something.  Instead of drawing the item, draw the space around it and see what you can create from that.
