   OKAY ,  rude ;  or better ,  straight to the point .  just like shouta was …  even if he not that present due to work ,  they somehow ended up being way too similar to each other .  hmm …  “  that’s fair .  “  it’s all he says at their little comment .

   he looks at the kitchen’s doorway ,  and truth be told he didn’t feel like cooking ,  but he knew they had meat in the fridge that would go bad if they didn’t eat it .  cooking it is ,  then .  “  …  set the table ,  okay ?  “

      “ i’m just glad you aren’t MAD about me cutting my hair is all. ” if we’re being HONEST, part of haruhi was glad that the kid stuck gum in their hair. while they certainly didn’t ASK for it (in fact they thought it was quite RUDE), it did allow them to have a reason to cut their hair; essentially killing TWO birds with ONE stone.

   HE gives them a little glare — couldn’t help it ,  really — before he is sighing .  there was truth behind their words ,  and shouta knows better than to become mad at them .  just accept them ,  like you’re trying to accept many other things .  it ain’t worth a fight .  “  it’s nothing important ,  haruhi .  “  yet he knows how their kid is :  stubborn just like he was ,  and while it was always fun seeing it and realizing it ,  it definitely didn’t help whenever the attention was turned on him .

      “ if it was nothing important then you’d be eating that soup i spent ALL afternoon making. ” was it a bit of a GUILT TRIP? sure. but the host can’t help but a send a slight GLARE back at their father truly they were too much ALIKE (especially when it came to deflecting feelings for others).
