happy disability pride month im still trying not to die
essentially i was already very chronically ill and constantly in the hospital for sepsis and then i had a surgery that went very badly and now ive spent my time in the hospital for 2 and a half months and then the last two weeks in a post-acute nursing home waiting for my next surgery.
i have a bowel perforation, have for the last 3 months and they wont do surgery until my nutrition labs are better. problem is, my nursing home wont accommodate my diet so my nutrition levels have actually gone DOWN instead of trending up like they need to. this means ive had to order a lot of delivery and my funds are running out fast. so i could really use some help with that bc this really sucks and i keep getting infections from the bowel leak and my intestines are literally exposed to air through a fistula on my belly rn. would really really appreciate the help bc again this sucks so bad, my quality of life is so poor right now and i just need to improve my nutrition levels so i can get out of this nursing home and back into the actual world please

my phone is malfunctioning. i use my phone 24/7, its my main distraction from all of this. i need to replace it but that'll cost like $200-$300 and i don't have that - what i do have has to go towards food. the rehab im at cut my tpn in half so i have to focus on my nutrition even more even though i cant eat much still. i need a phone though and mine wont hold a charge anymore and keeps overheating. it died on me at an appointment yesterday and i nearly got stranded
don't have much left after buying a $160 phone and a charger and nutrition shakes and a blanket and what i have is not gonna last me very long
