Great Picknick place is the San Giovanni e Paolo - Church, right beside is the Scuola grande di san Marco.

I do recommend to eat, at least desert, nearby the Dorsoduro district, with the beatiful view over the sea. And maybe you’re as ‘lucky’ as I were to see a cruise ship. Otherwise, pay a visit at “Marco Polos” (Street: Salizzada S. Lio)
