Enoshima Junko and Matsuda Yasuke's love scene?

The statue of Izuru Kamakura– it’s by no means a rendezvous hotspot, as nobody wants the bald old guy staring while you chat, but it definitely does the job for now.

In a way, Nagito feels both incredibly anxious and excited for the arrival. She was the one coming over, and while he has no real idea what he’s trying to prove here, he knows he has many thoughts to clear.

Plus… there’s no way he was going to miss her with the foolproof lure he went for: a fake love letter signed by none other than Matsuda Yasuke. If there was anything the girl made clear to anyone within a mile was her absolute devotion to the guy.

He just hopes she’s blinded enough by excitement she can’t notice how absolutely out of character the flowery written words are, and how the handwriting nor the signature at all fit however Matsuda actually writes.

“Ehehehehe.” She can’t stop herself from giggling as she runs top speed down the path toward the statue, weaving and dodging through other students milling about without even a second glance. This is way more important than anyone could imagine.

As she draws closer to the statue, she spies a taller boy standing in front. ...Matsuda-kun? Huh, her heart isnt beating any faster as she looks at him. Everything about him seems wrong. She can’t explain it, but she just knows this isn’t the love of her life. That is the one thing she is certain of... Which means...

“No!!!!!! No no no no no no no no!! Who are you-- And where is Matsuda-kun????” 

She points at him as she yells, as if she can keep him at arms length by willpower alone. Her first instinct is to run, to leave this weirdo where he stands and live to love another day. But the fact that this strange boy knew what to write to her to ger her to come here... It’s ominous. Way way super ominous.

Is this some sort of romantic rival?!?!?

Lately, the habit is to share lunch break with either Nagito or Chiaki, but on that particular day, for one reason or the other, neither could make it. Admittedly, sitting alone again feels kind of… weird. As his fingers tap on the screen, reassuring his friend that no, it’s okay, I’ll see you tomorrow, Hajime barely notices the chattering and laughing of students around coming to a halt, turning into hushed whispers of surprise, and the clicking of heels loudly resonating in the concrete ground.

He only looks up when they stop, right next to him, and someone plops down on the bench he’s sitting. His eyes widen in surprise, and next thing he knows, he’s being… insulted?

A main course student. And a pretty famous one, at that. Not being one into models and such, he probably couldn’t remember her name if his life depended on it, but he’s sure he’s seen her in magazine covers and more than once on TV.

… She looks even more extravagant in person. But then again, that isn’t a rare occurence when it comes to Hope’s Peak’s students.

He’s composing himself slightly from the surprise, and his eyes go from his lunch to the girl a few times.

“What’s wrong with it?”

Junko leans forward so her nose is practically touching Hinata’s, searching his face for any emotion other than initial surprise. He seems annoyed. Perfect. Within a few seconds she just knows that this is the type of person she’ll have fun with here.

“Oh there’s nothing wrong with it, really.” She speaks with an authoritative tone and straightens up, spine as stiff as a rod. “It’s just… this sort of food would be better suited for the rats.”

With a cold smile, she grabs the box from Hinata’s hands and flings it with a surprising amount of force across the courtyard. She’s holding back a giggle. Whats funnier than ruining some poor jealous chumps lunch?

Well. A lot of things actually. She’s trying to make things interesting but she’s pretty certain how he’s going to react So she’ll just have to try harder. Who knows, hopefully this kid will have some surprises up his sleeve. She came to the reserve course specifically to see how they felt about the main course... and to rub it in their face, of course.
