N-Nya!

It may be past its sell-by date, but I don’t see any mould on it! It seems good to me.

“What the heck..,” Maki murmured, idly running fingers through her hair. She couldn’t follow such logic at all. Well, it wasn’t like she was trying to in the first place. “What are you even talking about?” she huffed.

“Does it really matter?“

[ he froze, still looking exactly at the space next to her. how eerily perceptive she could be; how could he have forgotten? she was allowed for a reason, and here he was, caught unawares by his own complacence. perhaps it would be better to face her head on – clear his throat, square his shoulders, and look her straight in the eyes, showing no fear, like any other creature he claimed mastery over–

–or he thought he would do just that, before immediately averting his gaze and clamping his mouth shut. countless beasts he had overcome before, so many creatures that had followed him – but the threat of tears from a young woman? ]

… Fine. J-Just once.

[ make it stop. ]

[ as she would say, ibuki’s an unstoppable force! unless you have snacks. either way, she perks up back to normal at his words, letting out a whoop of anticipation. ]

Alrighty, then! Hold still, don’t try to move your head or this will probably end up weirdly, and above all, have fun!

[ the cocky grin upon her face softens a bit as she leans up on her tiptoes. with arms behind her back, the musician presses her lips against gundam’s in... a surprisingly gentle manner. it’s very out of character for her, contrasting with her usual excited attitude.

it’s quick, and lasts about ten seconds. she has strawberry-flavored lipgloss on.  when she pulls away, her smile is just as out of character- small, but somewhat shy. she giggles. ]

Geeeeeeeez, Ibuki thought you were all-knowing and stuff! That kinda oblivious ignorance is better on her, anyway! And you know it’s bad when she says that kinda long-word stuff!

[ she pouts, placing her hands on her hips and trying to size him up. it’s hard. ibuki whimpers softly, instead opting for the puppy eyes approach. as someone who deals with animals on a daily basis, it probably won’t do much, but it’s worth a shot. ]

“H-Hey, Gundam-chan...?“

she laughs nervously as she pokes her head around the corner, seemingly keeping her distance. ibuki mioda does not like being subject to anyone’s wrath, no sir.

“What if- and this is juuuust a what if, no literal mentalities here- Ibuki kinda, sorta, maybe.... forgot how the lock to the animal shed works. Maybe.“

She’s taking some sewing needles out… Is she just starting on it now? Maybe.

she scooches over quickly, looking over Tsumugi’s shoulder. Her eyes are wide and practically sparkling.
