I miss the rain. I miss the way it falls gracefully down the flower petals and how it caresses the leaves on the trees. Let’s sit under the umbrella breathing in the dewy smells created by the rain hitting dry sidewalks. Curl up with your book and I’ll grab my journal. Listen to each drop as it hits the window and rolls to the seal. Everything else is silent. Only the quiet droplets can be heard from the cracked window. Even the dog doesn’t dare disturb the crying sky.
