They're back! (Sort of)

I've been through a lot since I last updated this blog ^^" but do know! I am just fine! Hyperfixations go elsewhere now and again but I may be getting back to this soon.

“i didn’t really ‘summon’ them, these little guys follow me around everywhere. i met them a little after i woke up - apparently they had protected me while i was unconscious.”

“they’re called houndeyes. don’t worry, they’re friendly. i trained ‘em.“

[Mal gives one of the alien dogs a scratch behind one of their light blue crooks, causing them to chirp and kick their leg pleasantly. Mal is giggling.]

“look at ‘em! cute little alien dogs.”

“..Alien dogs..”

“‘Bweep’? ..What are hound..eyes? Are those like a new slang for ‘seeing-eye dog’?”

“yo, dude! i can show you!”

“Wha-- Huh!?“

[Malware puts his index finger and thumb to his mouth, letting out a shrill whistle.]

“Shh--MAL! Don’t do that, you’re gonna attract more of those creatures-!”

“chill out, holo. ..listen.”

[There’s a distant sound of scampering animals approaching from another hallway.]

“haha.. you.. can’t get to me, either, you know that, right..?”

“Sweet voice? Well.. I did see you singing and.. having odd lights leave your mouth. I’m assuming that’s it.”

“yeah, it’s like.. my thing i do. cool, right?”

“I guess so- Is this another ‘not human’-related thing of yours?”

“uhh actually they’re aliens. had one before, they’re like some fucked up hybrid of raccoons and crabs. tasted like beef jerky, for some reason.”

“I- Okay ignoring the fact you said you ATE one of those things, they’re.. aliens?”

“uh.. yeah? i thought that was obvious by now. why’re you only acting shocked now?”

“You gave me a very abridged version of what happened, Mal!”

“And- Mmh. I don’t know, honestly. The word gave me this.. weird feeling all of a sudden. In my.. bones. You know?”

“you have bones?? that’s news to me.”

“Huh. I never really thought about ‘missing’ certain colors- I’ve always been pretty wrapped up in my job.”
