Hiatus
I’m putting this blog on hiatus until further notice, I don’t completely lost my muse but I haven’t done replies in ages since I struggled with writing the EMH. This means @iambabydollrp won’t have a reply to our drafted thread, sorry about that.

This is the only Seven ship that made any sense whatsoever. But it was still kind of creepy to me.

He noticed her insecurity and placed his hand on her lower arm, giving her a light squeeze: “It’s fine, you don’t need to worry.”, he told her, assuming she was traumatized. “I don’t know who did this to you, but I can fix all your wounds.”, he stated. Of course he had noticed her frozen pupil.
“The nerves controlling your left eye are damaged, can you see anything with it at the moment?”, he asked and scanned her head, placing a brain activity monitoring device, a silver plate of two times three inches, on her forehead.
“You aren’t dead, according to my scans you’ve been frozen for decades at least, so this is far future for you. Don’t worry though, we’re on a starship and the medical possibilities have improved so I will be able to fix you perfectly. Please tell me, what is your name, and where does it hurt most at the moment?”

“Oh I would relish it, if they would be thankful at least. They aren’t, it’s annoying.”, he said: “Also I’m programmed to also prevent injuries and medical issues from happening by giving the advice to not fly through this nebula.”, he replied and tried to calm down again. Seven was sure, maybe, but he didn’t liked being told what to do, not even she was allowed to do so, though he had a soft spot for Seven.
“Now, considering the Captain won’t fly around the nebula,”, his voice sounded annoyed but calm at the moment: “we should try to think about ways to prevent the crew from getting headaches and other issues. Any suggestions Seven?”

“Doc I gotta ask, can you move about the ship? I’m just curious.” Charlie finishes stocking the supplies and looks at him.
“I have this unique piece of technology that makes me able to move about the ship.”, he explained and held up the silver equipment: “It’s called mobile emitter.”

The Doctor nodded: “If you tell us which of them was your father. We have every body we found stored in the now chilly cargo bay 3. We were going to have a funeral for them as soon as you feel better, so you can say goodbye.”, he had a slightly sad expression on his face as he told her this.
So many questions, the Doctor tried to answer them all: “Yes we do, still it wasn’t good enough to bring them back to life sadly, despite you.”, he frowned, wondering if he should tell her about his real nature or not, maybe he should, to gain her trust. “I don’t have a name, I’m a hologram.”, he said. “Just call me Doctor, everyone does.”, he smiled lightly. His smile increased a little: “Nice to meet you, how shall I call you? Mrs Cole?”, he nodded: “I’d wish too.”
“You’re human, aren’t you? Earth is over 50 thousand light-years away still, I think you will have to stick with us for a longer time.”, he said: “We came here by accident and our human doctor as well as the nurse died. So we are in fact in need of a nurse.”, he explained: “This has to be discussed with the Captain though.”
At the last question the Doctor shook his head: “We’re not entirely sure, but most of your crew died by either the explosion or the broken hull. They died immediately.”, he told her: “Get some rest, I’ll dim the lights and consult the Captain about your request.”
We’ll defend ourselves. They won’t get what they’re after. I mean you won’t get what you’re after. Not in a million years. Not if I have anything to say about it.

The operating lamps blinded her so much that when the figure appeared in front of her he was a mere silhouette. Molly Reass took a breath, in that moment she felt a great stillness. There wasn’t even fear as the surgeon positioned the orbitoclast under her eyelid …I’m ready… He changed the angle a little …If I choose this it is my choice, its my choice and I’m ready… The doctor raised the silver hammer …I am not afraid… The hammer impacted the blunt end of the ice pick and then the world …E X P L O D E D
There was a flash of light that was brighter than anything Molly had ever seen, brighter than the sun. It seemed to originate in the backs of her eyes and wiped out everything in the world. For a length of time that Molly could not even begin to calculate she felt herself drifting, shifting…there was no form to anything, only light and a sense of swimming movement. It was oddly serene, so much so that when Molly felt herself hit the hard surface beneath her the shock was enough to knock the air out of her body.
Her head spun. She squinted as her eyes adjusted to the light …What’s happening? Where am I? The questions echoed in her head as she tried to orient herself to her new surroundings, she was in a room…was this a bed?
There were noises, people were gathering around her, she still couldnt focus enough to make out their faces but some were asking questions…Her tongue was lost, she felt so disoriented that she couldnt have formed a response if she wanted to. In fact she felt fairly sure in that moment that she must have died …What else could this be?
Through the murmurs in sickbay, the loud and clear voice of the Doctor said: “Now everybody, this is a sickbay, not the mess hall, despite the Captain and maybe the Commander of Lieutenant Tuvok, everyone has to leave.”, he gestured towards the door and the officers left the room. Only the Captain and the Commander stayed, while Tuvok waited outside. Janeway walked to the Doctors office with Chakotay, resuming the murmured words in there.
The Doctor looked more satisfied with the circumstances now, and so he took a step towards the biobed and his patient. “Can you hear me ma’am?”, he asked: “I’m a Doctor. You don’t have to worry.”, he told her while he scanned her with his medical tricorder. He watched her too, she seemed to be awake, so he kept talking: “Do you need any painkillers or something else? I can give it to you. You seem to be unconscious for many years.”, if not decades. He watched her again and finally knelt down to make her be less intimidated.

“I know.”, the EMH said, reaching for her hand, holding it to reassure her. “You tried your best, it’s fine.”, she should stay calm, that would be way better for her health, so the EMH tried to make her stay calm. He smiled at her as she opened her eyes, she had beautiful ones. “I am. I’m the Doctor of the U.S.S. Voyager, we saved you.”, he told her with a soft voice.
“Don’t sit up.”, he said softly, pointing at the dome over her chest and stomach. He looked sorry: “I’m so sorry, you were the only one alive when we arrived, we tried to bring everybody who seemed to be dead for not too long back to life, but there was no hope. I’m sorry we didn’t made it, you are the only survivor.”

Her crew were falling around her as Charlie tried to heal them, dying in agony since the medic died in the first wave of attacks. Tears were streaming down her face as she covered two more with sheets and tried to hide how the crew were yelling at her. Another explosion shook the vessel and haul breaches cropped up everywhere, deck seven had been sealed since it was venting air. She heard someone run in and turned to yell at them.
“I’m trying to keep t-..” Pain radiated from her shoulder and chest, dropping the nurse into a welcome darkness.
“Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?”, the Doctor shook her gently after pressing a hypo to her neck. The woman on the biobed he was standing next to was the only survivor of the highly damaged spaceship they found floating through space. He dearly hoped she was alright, she had suffered from a lack of oxygen and he basically had managed to bring her back from a coma. Her other crew mates haven’t had such luck and they sadly couldn’t help them anymore.
“You’re in sickbay.”, he explained just in case she heard him: “Aboard the Starfleet ship Voyager, you’re safe.”
The Doctor took the PADD from her and eyed it with high concentration, reading it quickly and thinking about this for a few moments. He lifted his hand and placed the knuckle of his index finger against his lips, trying to interpret the given data as exactly as possible.
The holographic looked up interested and listened to Seven’s words. He nodded with a lightly annoyed look on his face and a frown on his forehead: “I assume she would most likely fly straight through or even stop for science. It gives the crew strong headaches and I better find a cure for that and the possibly burning eyes and sore throats caused by light de-hydration. That’s what the phenomenon will cause.”

“Those affects are negligible,” Seven Of Nine said, “My initial scans suggested far worse. I doubt the Captain will alter course.”
Seven took the PADD back and moved to a particular section of the data her scans had picked up.
“Perhaps I was premature in my assumptions. An error thanks to my human side continuing to reassert itself, no doubt.”
“True, they aren’t going to kill anyone, but I will have to suffer the Captain’s decisions.”, he commplied and with an higher pitched voice he added: “Doctor here, Doctor there, hurry Doc....”, his voice got back to normal: “Oh I can hear it already.”, he sighted.
He stood, placing his hand on Seven’s arm: “That isn’t a bad thing, you know, it’s exactly what we wanted to happen, remember?”, oh she wasn’t dealing too well with the chances, the EMH hoped he could help her somehow.

Two Snarky Doctors
“Ah, you’re awake.”, the EMH stepped closer: “I’m the Doctor of the U.S.S Voyager. You’re on a Starfleet ship of the Federation. How are you feeling Doctor McCoy?”, he asked, running a scanner over him and watching his medical tricorder: “Lay down if you don’t want to faint again.”, he said and pushed Bones back down.
“Dont worry you’re safe. You’ve got the best Doctor in fleet to take care of you.”, he said: “I’m am programmed and don’t do mistakes.”, he smiled triumphantly at the Doctor. “You looked better on the pictures, but that’s fine, we get you fixed up.”, he turned to load another hypo: “it’s a painkiller.”, he explained and pressed it against Bones neck.
