the scene I am talking about is caine's talk with the moon after he comes back from the void is in my opinion one of the most underrated scene in tadc. Most people say "yeah it's good" but I think it's just as good if not more as kinger's talk in episode 3. But why why is a scene that was for the most part pretty short ended up being so good it. Well let me explain caine is just coming back after realizing the real harm and damage he did to the players. He already tried so many times to to get them all to love him and be his friend. Caine wanting close bound with someone with the people he adores humans only for his own pride and stubbornness to cause the players all to hate or dislike him. And then he goes to moon who has made her feelings for him clear says that it will take time for them to forgive him but still says she loves him. And then caine says that he didn't program her to love him and she says I know fully confirming that she loved him from her own free will caine after several years of trying has someone tell him point blank that they love him and the dumbass he is didn't really take the time to actually appreciate it until now. And it would have been so easy to have it be like "yeah no she is programmed to always. Love him" but no they actually had it so she loved him from her own free will. Moon after several times of getting ignored by this idiot finally gets to actually have a one on one with him without him running off. And then their is the obvious autistic coding to caine's entire character that makes this scene even better. Let me tell you something for all my autistic goats seeing this. Name one time you were not either found annoying,too much to deal with, people dealt with you cause they had to not cause they want to, shamed for expressing yourself or showing any interest in anything, and so much more that I don't even need to say. And with how heavily and I mean HEAVILY autistic coded as fuck caine is I want to say this again. Caine after several tries and attempts of trying to get people to love him to understand others wanting and desperate for any short confirmation that he is loved that he is loved and liked by someone full stop dispute constantly being told the parts of yourself and how you think is bad or annoying to deal with.....now how many of you my glorious autistic goats cried seeing this. This just makes this scene way better and a great way to show caine is trying to be better.
