This is Esther** and Margaret's**** duet.

In this world, there is a portal that leads to Beyond (Beyond Beyond). While Beyond is said to bring you dreams alive, that is a double edged sword. What you love may turn into some kind of literal metaphor, but your fears and your anger and your pain will as well, especially if it's been suppressed in the primary realm.

For Esther, her voice has been suppressed. She's a people pleaser. She is too afraid to truly speak up to King Chain, or to truly open up to Esther, and because of that and another secret reason 😈, the Beyond dimension sharpens her teeth like a beast. It grows to a point it's barely small enough for her mouth to contain.

King Chain sees her like this and is disgusted. She comes in for a kiss and she cuts his lip to the point he kicks her out of Beyond. He does that every so often, yelling at her to leave even though they know they'll end up in the same place once again.

"I've grown a mouth so sharp and cruel it's all that I could give to you, my dear. And when you come in quick to steal a kiss my teeth will only cut your lip, my tear."

Esther, now meeting with her secret lover, is worried that Margaret won't love her in this "beastly state" either.

"I know that you mean so well."

Margaret****is saying she knows that Esther doesn't mean to hurt her. But Margaret doesn't care about the sharp teeth. Margaret is sick of just being her "mistress", Esther's glorious escape from the abusive marriage. Margaret knows Esther has good intent, but that good intent stays in Esther, the good intent isn't stored in Margaret. It's Esther's responsibility to actually turn her agenda into action, not for Margaret to accept that Esther means well. Thus she says: "But I am not a vessel for your good intent."

"I will only break your pretty things." Margaret is saying how she's going to be a burden, and how Esther's life of wealth with the king will not be something she will have with Margaret, how life won't be the comfort Esther tried so hard to obtain, and how Margaret's going to actually need her if they become more then just secret lovers.

"I will only wring you dry of everything" Esther believes if she partially loved Margaret because of her awful marriage, that if she really ends up with Margaret, she will just sink into the relationship and ruin her life. King Chain has led her to believe she is reliant on him, and so Esther believes all that reliance will go to Margaret and resentment will stir

"And if you're fine with that, you can be mine like that." Maybe this time is the last time the King kicks her out. Maybe he won't try to find her again. And maybe Esther and Margaret can really start this.

"I will poison all your happy thoughts"

Esther believes she is the poison of the relationship. Margaret believes her loneliness will consume Esther's happiness.

"I will love you like the ashes in my cigarette box" Margaret loves Esther, but Esther seems to be all that's left. Like ashes after smoking cigarettes.
