My own hot take of the day: This fandom has personal beef with poc characters.

Olivia, Gabriel, Reginald, Harper, Otto, Radar, Stella, Binta, and Fred deserve A👏LOT👏MORE👏THAN👏THEY'RE👏GIVEN!!!

Almost every single one of them is freaking used as a punchline for white characters. Not to mention how many videos out there used dark skinned Jesse for "bad choices."

I want to have Harper outside of Ivor shipping. I want to have Reginald outside of Milo shipping or "Isa's loyal guard." I want to see Fred outside of Romeo or Xara shipping.

Not to mention how, let's say, Radar or Stella are being hated for unreasonable things like "childish behavior" or "bitch behavior" (white characters that did the same weren't hates for those reasons.)

NOT to mention how much of whitewashing of poc Jesse I saw. Or how people tend to draw Olivia/Gabriel either dark as freaking void or, yet again, WHITEWHASHING.

No, you'll never shut me up on this topic. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people in this fandom who already blocked me for those words and I genuinely dgaf.

#they’re not given much content ingame and the fandom barely pays attention to any of them #fans treat literally all of these characters as props for other characters / ships #except like. maybe radar. I see him get a fair amount of fan content #the fandom has an issue with any of the non white&male characters in general #Aiden being a fan favorite despite only being in two episodes while the poc and esp woc get almost zero content is very telling #this is an issue with fandom in general where poc & women are heavily sidelined but it doesn’t mean it’s Still not important #and I’m glad to see other ppl within this fandom talk about it. i hope more people come to realize this #mcsm

I wish more people interpreted Jesse with hearing aids cuz realistically their hearing would’ve been permanently impaired given how close they were to the formidi-bomb explosion

#minecraft story mode #mcsm jesse #i know in the game they heard ringing for like a few seconds But.#I’ve had a mini explosion go off next to my ear and after the ringing stopped i couldn’t hear for like a day #and obviously the blast was bigger and they were right up to next to it #like i guess there could hypothetically be a potion a healing potion could cure it since it would’ve been internal damage #but i think hearing aids are cooler.and it’s a disability I don’t see represented often
