Based on the fact that he asks these questions to find out how food tastes, I like to imagine some guy chose to mess with him by telling him, "you know you can *eat* basketballs too, right?"

".wait shit, for real?"

And so he asked every usual question. What does it pair with? Butter and whipped cream apparently. Like a pie or dessert. How does it taste? Delicious apparently.

And apparently, it was *plausible enough* for a being with *zero* frame of reference to think that *basketballs are edible*. Because he can't eat, *that* passed the vibe check.

Can't wait for him to bring it up in passing during a conversation with some random human only to be told "Who the HELL told you that?!"
