School Dropout

People always ask me to respect their religious/life views. And I do. It doesn’t bother me what your religion is; hell tell me all about your beliefs i’m interested in that. If you don’t believe in god, cool, you can talk to me about it. Tell me about the evidence that disproves it. Tell me about evolution. I’m not going to judge you on your religion (or lack of it). Your views and beliefs are only part of who you are. But the thing that erks me, is that while i am expected to respect everyone’s views, no one respects mine. Even when it comes down to my silly little superstitions and horoscopes. This is what I was leading up to. The horoscopes. I know that not many people believe them, thats cool I don’t expect you to. But making fun of me and calling me stupid or gullible because I read mine is uncalled for. I like to read my horoscope; its this little vague paragraph that tells me my fortune for the day or week. I enjoy reading them. And I sometimes take its advice when i’m bailed up in a corner and I have no idea what to do. You don’t want me to judge you, but you think its okay for you to judge me because I read my horoscope? No. Leave me alone. Unless you want me to start being a dick about your beliefs or your life choices I suggest you shut the hell up.
