Hi! I’m in need of suggestions for a desk workspace! 

I just got a Wacom Cintiq 22HD tablet, and I ran into a buttload of problems when it came to workspace arrangement. My computer only has one usable port so I had to kick my other monitor off the desk. Plus– the Cintiq is HUGE compared to the desk. I originally had my old tablet on a monitor arm, but I attached the Cintiq to it, and found the arm is too short to swing around and use it as my main monitor during downtime. 

I’ll be trying to remove the Cintiq from the monitor arm tonight so I can put it back on the stand it arrived with. I cannot mount the old monitor to the VESA mount, so getting an adapter plug/splitter so I can use both monitors won’t really work. 

I currently have an Ikea Malm/Expedit desk thing like this, only mirrored so the shelves are on my left side. 

The Cintiq is almost as wide as the usable desk workspace. I want to *try* to get a monitor riser to put the secondary monitor in behind the Cintiq, but it’s gonna be tight.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don’t have to worry about the scanner since that’s elsewhere but I do need to worry about the keyboard and mouse.
