HL's Journey

God is saying to us, “In the day of trouble, call on Me” (Psalm 50:15). No one ultimately has the answer to life’s problems but God—not your government nor your family. Only God, through His Spirit, can keep you strong in your struggle against the principalities and powers of this dark age. We have to be strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might. And that’s possible only through prayer and reading the word of God. When was last time you called on God? When was last time He heard your voice? God is at the throne of grace. He has grace and mercy to give you, but will you go to Him? Brothers and sisters in Christ, in the day of trouble, let’s call on the Lord that He may be gracious to us.

When you love yourself, you glow from the inside. You attract people who love, respect, and appreciate your energy. Everything starts with and how you feel about yourself. Start feeling worthy, valuable and deserving of receiving the best that life has to offer. Be magnetic.

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 The whole world had been brought to a grinding halt. The cities are quiet that we can even hear the birds chirping at dawn. What seemed top priority isn’t important anymore. People are in despair. But these times can be times when we can refocus our attention on things that are really important. Though things seem like reeling out of control, God is still on the throne. There is no chaos in heaven. We don’t understand the “whys”, we can leave that in God’s hands. Use these moments and days to draw near to God. 1) Read and study the word-perhaps you were so busy you hardly had time to meditate on the word, now you do. 2) Pray more- talk to God, pour out your fears and worries to Him. 3) Trust Him- things may seem hopeless, but know that God can make beauty out of ashes. 4) Cherish and enjoy the loved ones God has blessed you with. Listen to them, make memories with them. Above all, be thankful always!
