john:
âIâm afraid I donât know which one is yours in particular, but Iâd be happy to help you look.â John offered, eager to get out of the office for a little while and distract himself with some other task that was actually achievable. He liked to feel productive, and hadnât for months, spinning his wheels and accomplishing next to nothing in the time heâd spent at Hogwarts. âYeah, Dawlish, John Dawlish.â John repeated, his brows narrowing. It wasnât as though his name was uncommon, but John wondered at why his name seemed to ring a bell with the American. âGen?â He asked, his gaze darting toward his partnerâs desk and the picture on it with the American featured front and center. âOh! Youâre Genâs Archie?â
Archie knew he could never let Gen know the length of time it had taken for him to put the connection together, or heâd never live it down. Really it should have been obvious from the name alone, but Archie thought he could be forgiven for his distraction. âI am indeed Genâs Archie. They relocated me here, just for an extra boost. And MACUSA wanted more of an idea of what was happening here, so we can be prepared for any backlash back home.â The cover story was a believable one, and it was accurate. He wasnât meant to say much about the other reason for coming, as the Wilkinsons wanted to keep everything as quiet as possible. âI was very eager to see Genâs school. Sheâs told me so much about Hogwarts and I wanted to see it in person.â
