It's not even about Pokémon, it's about Creature Collection as a genre. We got games like Creatures of Ava and Cassette Beasts struggling to stay afloat within their small communities as products of genuine love for what they are, but there they are, the people claiming to want to "fight against Pokémon's monopoly" giving you a huh if you mention any game within this genre that's not Palworld.

If you actually want to fight the monopoly of Pokémon, whether you love the brand or you hate it, because you love the genre, give love to these smaller games, not this glorified content farm of a company that banks its popularity on being edgy lawsuit bait.

My partner @revretch developed their own blender shading system to create the effect of "cartoonish" fur and hair shading but they're also able to use it to generate a lifelike insect pseudopupil that changes with the angle EXACTLY like the real thing, like even where the shadow distorts in shape or "breaks" here at certain angles is precisely what an actual pseudopupil will do?! You can see examples on real mantises if you look carefully:

There is no real safety, no stable access to food or medicine, and every day the conditions get worse.

Rats have filled our tent, eating the few clothes we own and destroying the floor of the tent that barely protects us.

Every day we wake up to new damage, torn clothes, and belongings ruined by rodents because of the harsh conditions we are living in.

Our children are living in fear, exhaustion, and insecurity.

We have no home to protect us and no clean or safe place to turn to.

Even the simplest necessities of life have become a daily struggle for survival.

With the arrival of summer, my children are in desperate need of light summer clothes after most of their clothing was damaged by rats and the harsh conditions of displacement.

It breaks my heart to see my children deprived of the most basic needs that should be every child’s right.

We are not asking for the impossible… we only want to live with dignity and protect our children from this painful reality.
