‘THAT’S a stupid question.  of course not.’  he answers quietly, eyes closing for a moment with a content smile.  he couldn’t remember a time when someone else had played such a huge role in his own happiness, or himself in theirs.  it was nice to feel wanted, to be loved by someone who didn’t have to care about him at all.

The other’s response was enough of an indication for Mei to close the distance between them and crash their lips together. He melted into the soft touch, slowly moving his mouth across Jun’s lips, hands wrapping around his back. There was no lust behind the kiss – only the heart wrenching feelings Mei had held in for so long. There really was nothing better than getting validated by the one you love, he couldn’t help but think, smiling behind the kiss. 

AS his arms wrapped around mei’s shoulders, jun couldn’t help the smile that formed.  he hadn’t felt truly happy like this in forever, and he wanted it to last as long as possible.  he pulled away after what felt like an eternity, laughter escaping him.  the feeling was still strange to him, but it wasn’t something he was afraid of anymore, and that was what made him the happiest.
