So I found a really awesome manga today???

It’s called “Kichijoji dake ga sumitai machi desu ka?” or, roughly, “The only town you want to live in is Kichijoji?” and is by Maki Hirochi

It’s about two sisters who work do real estate in Kichijoji, Tokyo

They’re both fat girls, but as far as I can tell so far, they aren’t fetishized or are the butt of a joke???

They’re both super cute, and drawn proportionally and realistically, seriously I can’t think of the last time I saw a manga with fat girls as the main characters/protagonists, or if I EVER have period. 

AND THEY LOVE METAL/HARD ROCK?!?!?

LIKE WOW IM IN LOVE!??

Also the stories are all just really sweet, it’s basically just the sisters helping people who come to their real-estate agency find the perfect home, like, it’s really cute and sweet and good? 

Also it has a live-action drama going on rn which is super exciting!

I almost turned it off in the first 3 seconds, I’m glad i sat through that.

Amazingly innocent and dark at the same time; I love it.

YES YOU DO.

It’s ostensibly about these two guys, Ban and Ginji, who run an agency that specializes in retrieving stolen/lost items (so…getting them back lol). That would be interesting enough, but they both have kind of super powers; Ban has the ability to make someone see an alternate reality of his choosing for one minute (and he’s also super strong), and Ginji–or as he was once called, the Lightning Emperor–controls fucking lightning. Ban is smooth and cool and Ginji is a happy-go-lucky fun guy, and they both have tragic pasts but are focused on their business in the present.

It starts of kind of generic case-of-the-week getting stuff back, usually with humorous ends as the guys are flat-broke and keep trying to build their business and get rich quick. But things start to pick up very quickly as you meet characters from their pasts when they take on particularly dangerous jobs, including the pretty much canonically a couple Kazuki and Juubei:

(IIRC Kazuki was initially going to be female, but for some reason the mangaka decided to make him a male character, but his relationship with Juubei was never changed and so now they’re just super gay?)

Yeah.

BUT there’s lots of great characters and the story gets REALLY GOOD and it gets REALLY GAY like UNDENIABLY GAY–

(I mean there’s too lovely ladies in some hot getups right behind them but Ban is just fondling Ginji…)

Hoot dook, indeed!

And if that wasn’t enough, it also has a phenomenal voice cast, too! Canna Nobutoshi, Morikubo Shoutarou, Hoshi Souichirou, Ogata Megumi, Saiga Mitsuki, Koyasu Takehito, and more :DDDD
