So today is my b-day (April 28) and if anyone wants to send me adorable fan art or headcanons of their own that would be great! I don't have any plans for posts today because I've been swamped with finals coming up next week but as soon as the semesters done I plan on having a few new things up. these are some headcanons i have for the next batch of captains (specifically Yahaba, Ennoshita, Shirabu, Futakuchi, Akaashi, Terushima, and Yamamoto) and how they are all buds. Leggo

Yahabu and Shirabu are actually really good friends. they decided not to be complete rivals like Ushi and Oikawa

Enno learned from the best (Suga) and learned everyone’s secrets and weaknesses before exposing his true evil self

they all live in fear of the day he finally loses his mind and destroys them all with the black mail he has

Terushim aka Captain Bisexual- is so goddamn gay for Akaashi. I mean, look at him he’s so pRETyyy!

Setter Skwad going on group shopping trips and looking fly as fuck

(Akaashi had to pick out Shirabu’s clothes for him so he didn’t ruin their aesthetic with his fucking hawaiin print shirt)

Teru and Yama took Enno out on a ‘the not setter skwad’ trip and Enno just spent an hour screaming into the void to prepare

Futakuchi is such a bitch and they have a board that counts how many days without sarcastic remark

But honestly everyone else loves him and the minute someone not in their squad insults him or threatens him they form up and prepare for battle

Akaashi and Yamamoto are the best of friends and they hang at each other’s houses a lot with Kenma and have sleepovers

Yahaba is the saltiest person on the planet but he is also the best person to go to for advice

Ennoshita is just waiting for death to claim him honestly

Akaashi and Enno go out together once a month and calmly drink shit talk their teammates and the other captains

Everyone teases Yahaba about his crush on Kyoutani

Dudes! Bisexual Tanaka!

Tanaka who thinks girls are the prettiest, most beautiful thing in the whole wide world!!11!! Tanaka who is easily distracted by a pretty face and a skirt and who thinks women are so COOL and amazing and fierce!! (don’t get me started on 1000%-a-feminist-Tanaka) and who will just do anything a girl asks him to and is just a loving and attentive boyfriend who likes to shower girls with gifts and praise and loves when they laugh. And who definitely has a thing for girls who can destroy him and take care of themselves.

But also Tanaka who thinks boys are just so cute and handsome and perfect!!! like look at that smile!! Tanaka who encourages boys to try their hardest and give 110% effort and wants them to be the best they can be and who smiles so proudly when a boy is happy and confident. And he just loves to show his boys how amazing they are and how strong and he loves when boys smile when they’re told they’re beautiful and when boys blush !!!!!! OH his poor little heart!!

Suga is an angel. He is pure and sweet and kind. He is supportive and soft and delicate and everyone can agree that Suga is just the nicest person to ever exist.

The fact that the entirety of the soccer team is afraid of him is some kind of fluke.

The way that all the delinquents in school stopped bothering Tanaka all of a sudden has nothing to do with Suga and the infinite amount of blackmail he has on them.

The bullies that once shoved Yamaguchi onto the floor when Tsukki was out sick one day did not suddenly all end up with black eyes and the fear of god because of Suga.

The annoying click of girls that all broke into tears was not in any way related to the fact that they were harassing Asahi in Suga’s presence. 

The douche bag that took a vow of chastity and switched schools was in no way related to the incident where Suga caught him trying to reach up Shimizu’s skirt.

There was no way he was involved in an entire volleyball team dropping out of a tournament after they trash talked the weirdo first years.

Alright so everyone knows that Oikawa has the hots for Iwaizumi. Literally everyone, no one has any doubts that OIkawa would 100% sell his soul for the chance to stare at Iwaizumi’s glorious body. Even Oikawa totally accepts that he is very very gay for his best friend, it’s just a fact of life. The sky is blue. Fish swim in the sea. Iwaizumi is hot as balls. But for a long time, Oikawa thought that it was just Iwaizumi.

And then he meets Daichi and oh boy. ARE THOSE THIGHS EVEN LEGAL!!! OH his GlorIOUS AbSSSS!!! and wow Oikawa was not prepared for this beef-cake to stand with his arms crossed over his chest looking all manly and in charge and he just sweats because WOW!

And then in college let’s say he ends up on team Captain. And he meets Boktuo. And good lord this boy was crafted by god himself I mean, look at those ARMS!!!! Oh and his beefy legs and he’s just so hot!

And yes Oikawa can admit that Ushijima is very aesthetically pleasing (Good lord his ass! His beautiful toned ass!)

And at this point Oikawa may have to admit that he totally has a type. He is very much into hot muscular men with thighs that could crush his skull. 

I’ve been in something of a magical mood lately- if you hadn’t guessed from my mermaid post- So welcome to the magical forest full of beautiful magical creatures that exist semi-peacefully and have a grand old time.

Elves- most common and in two separate factions, the sun elves and the moon elves. They mostly get along except for on solstice days when the slightest comment could start a war.

Sun elves- Daichi, Shimizu, Iwaizumi, Kawanishi

moon elves- Tsukishima, Ennoshita, Lev, 

Fairies + Sprites- nature based little winged pests that like to cause trouble  and occasionally start wars between the others

Hinata- fire fairy

Yahaba + Sakunami- garden fairy

Shibayama- water fairy

Semi- wind sprite

Akaashi- ice fairy

I’m back! I’m not dead and I have a few ideas for some new posts that I can hopefully have up before the weekend is over (if my shitty wifi is willing to behave) But here we have a mermaid au!! This will hopefully be a series, one for each team and first up we have my not so secret faves! Enjoy!

Aoba Johsai is a pod of lagoon dwelling mer-people (would it be called a pod? Dolphins are in pods)

They live on a really pretty tropical island uninhabited by people and their little cove has a waterfall and lots of rocks to lounge upon (I’m talking Peter Pan mermaid lagoon-esque shit)

Oikawa is their leader but he’s so fucking petty about shit he’s still holding a grudge against the pack of river otters that live upstream because they stole his favorite sunning rock(his tail is Aoba Johsai blue and his fins are super wide and translucent)

Iwaizumi is the one everyone actually listens to and he’s super reliable but he prefers to just take naps and shit on Oikawa- he’s their protector because he’s super strong and intimidating (his tail is dark blue and his scales are surprisingly smooth, built more like a shark’s tail than a mermaids)

Matsukawa has the longest fucking tail ever. It’s nearly twice the length of his upper body and it drives him crazy because if he takes a turn too fast it gets stuck and he ends up gracelessly cartwheeling underwater (his tail is more green than Oikawaw’s)

Hanamakki has a pale pink tail and his fins are long and droopy and he likes to turn around quickly and slap people in the face with them. Takes an alarming amount of joy from Oikawa’s misery

Yahaba- aka Mr Petty #2-he has an army of small fish with sharp teeth that adore him and he will set them on his enemies for the slightest offense (his tail is blue like Oikawa’s but spotted with white)

Kyoutani is half siren- meaning he has the really sharp teeth if not the song voice- but he was raised by sharks so his manners are horrendous. Oikawa rescued him from fishermen and he now follows Iwaizumi everywhere he goes (his tail is striped black and gray and it’s wider than the average merman)

Watari loves all the drama. He gets a front row seat to every shitshow and he loves it. He’s the best at changing shape into a human and usually goes to climb trees for the good fruits (his tail is pea green and very short, built for strength)

Kindaichi is considered innocent and pure but Kunimi knows he’s actually satan and he is not fooled by that cutesy tail flick that he does (his tail is a darker blue than Iwaizumi’s but built more like Watari’s)

Kunimi just wants to sleep on his favorite sun rock and maybe hit Kindaichi in the face with a pebble. (his tail is gray and like Makki’s though he finds a way to wrap his droopy fins up when he’s sleeping so they can’t be pulled)

No one is allowed to speak of The Incident where Kindaichi changed shape and ended up with half tail/half leg because it was horrifying for everyone

Makki nearly died because he got a berry stuck in his gills

Watari is very good friends with the river otters and he goes over alot to chat and snuggle

At some point a group of humans find them

Oikawa is preening under all the attention and praise

Kyoutani has hid himself behind the waterfall

Some poor girl nearly drowned she was so distracted by Iwaizumi and his glorious arms

However a few of them do attempt to kidnap Kunimi while he’s napping on his sunning stone- they plan to take him home and show him off for sceince

And this is how everyone finds out about Kindaichi’s evil side

Suddenly every piranha and electic eel within a 10 mile radius are in their lagoon and suddenly there are some very dead people

Kyoutani ripped some guys’ throat out with his teeth and Yahaba swooned

And i’m back with the strange soul mates thing that I still don’t entirely know what i’m doing but i’ma roll with it cuz its fun

Asahi- his soulmate is the feeling in the pit of his stomach when he knows a spike will slam through a block. It’s unwavering confidence bubbling under his skin and a softness he can’t explain. It’s small hands with unlimited strength cradling his glass heart gently. It’s bruises coloring skin and kissing them softly until they fade. It’s sailing across a stormy, bleak sea and finally seeing shore and knowing that he’s home.

Tanaka- his soulmate is the kind of laughter at 2 am when the rest of the world is asleep. It’s that voice in head telling him to think. It’s C-rated horror films and pillow forts and popcorn kisses and feeling like bliss. Like the part of a movie before everything goes bad. His soulmate is stern glances and suppressed smiles and a warmth in his cheeks whenever their eyes meet.

Ukai- his soulmate is the warmth of a teacup in his hands. It’s the soft, sure feeling he gets when things go right. It’s reaching blindly for a shirt in the dark and the feeling of being young again. His soulmate is infectious grins and unstoppable laughter and that smug feeling of being right in an argument. It’s gentle and  real and perfect.

Hanamakki- his soulmate is big hands against his stomach and a mop of hair pressed into his neck. It’s laughing so hard you cry and for so long its almost hard to breathe. It’s waking up slowly in a warm bed. It’s bad jokes and worse puns and grinning so wide his face hurts. his soulmate is the feeling of being caught in a trust fall. Its a feeling like he’ll never be alone.

Hey guys! I’m back and this time I’m doing the different types of first dates the couples had. There will be a wide variety and not all of them will be good dates (as i’ve had a number of those). Im in a very romantic mood tho as last night I went out with this great guy and i’m still feeling super mushy. Hope you enjoy!

Daisuga- surprisingly, their first date was a total disaster. Suga asked Daichi out after practice one day and they decided to go to dinner. Unfortunately neither thought to check if the restaurant was still open. It wasnt. They get all the way there and its closed already and neither knows what to do so they end up going to a fast food burger joint. But there’s also a screaming child in the room and someone trips and spills their soda all over Daichi. Its a wreck. They both go home and just kinda die. (they go out again next week and its much better)

TanaKiyo- It takes her forever to agree to out with him but she says yes. Tanaka is over the goddamn moon. She’s expecting it to be kinda weird and super fancy or something but he takes her to play mini golf and to the arcade and he wins all the shooting games and gets her a stuffed crow. She can’t stop smiling she’s having so much fun. He opens every door for her and pulls out her chair and is so charming. She kisses his cheek when he drops her off and he grins the whole way home.

Bokuakakurotsukki- they’re all super nervous and trying to hide it by acting cool. They go to Kuroo’s place and sit in his living room watching a movie and they all start off a respectful distance apart, sharing popcorn and keeping quiet. But by the end Akaashi is in Tsukishima’s lap and Bokuto is half asleep leaning on Tsukki’s shoulder and Kuroo is sitting on the floor in front of them letting Akaashi play with his hair and they’re all just talking quietly as the movie ends and Tsukki is complaining about all the inconsistencies and Kuroo is saying how great it is and Bo is sleepily singing the ending theme and Akaashi is giggling like crazy and its warm and soft and perfect

Iwaoi- their first date was acutally in their last year of middle school and they were only like fourteen/fifteen and so awkward. They just went out to their favorite ice cream place and shared a double banana split and they weren’t sure how dating was different from how they were before but on the way home they hold hands and Iwa is like, ‘oh, i like that’ and he just refuses to ever stop holding Oikawa’s hand. They have a sleep over that night and OIkawa curls up next to Iwaizumi and Iwaizumi pets his hair and they don’t really get what’s different yet but it feels nice like this so they don’t want it to change

YachiSae- Saeko doesn’t ask yachi out until she graduates. She picks her up in her car one day and she drives nice and slow and they go to the park and sit under this tree and just talk for hours. They get to know each other and Sae talks about her brother and yachi talks about her boys and they talk about themselves and where Yachi’s going to school and what Saeko’s doing for work and at some point they end up watching the ducks in the pond with Saeko’s arm around yachi’s waist and yachi’s head on her shoulder and they don’t say anything anymore

Yakulev- oh it was so bad. So so so bad. Lev was so excited. He asked Yaku out just before the third year graduated and they were texting about it all week. But there was a miscommunication. lev meant to say meet at 6, but he wrote 5. Yaku got there an hour earlier and just stood in  the middle of this crowd waiting. He was so upset he’d though Lev had stood him up. lev finally shows up and he apologizes like crazy and promises to make it up to him. But yaku is too mad at this point so he kicks Lev in the shin and goes home. They both cry a lot. (but it’s ok because Kai is there and he locks them in a closet to make up and arrange another a date)

So over the course of the last month and a half I have been sick a grand total of four times, three stomach viruses and a cold. I missed all of my classes yesterday due to spending my morning bent over a toilet and then sleeping all afternoon. I am a miserable sick person, but it gave me the idea to do the types of sick people and put some of our volley-dorks in those roles. Enjoy, my suffering inspired this.

The whiny sick person, the ones who complain and think they’re dying from anything like mild headache or an actual illness. Mostly likely to spend their sickness in the presence of as many people as possible. Apparently can’t do anything themselves. The only way to help them is to give them attention, pet them, do what they ask and generally baby them until they get better or else the whining will get worse.

- Oikawa, Yamaguchi, Daichi, Tanaka, Kyoutani, Kuroo, Lev, Akaashi, 

The reclusive sick person, usually vanishes from society until they feel better. Will not text, call, email, or communicate with anyone. If seen, it is usually at odd hours while cocooned in blankets questing for medication, food, or a bathroom. Do not speak with them, they will only stare at you. Just leave them be or leave offerings at their door. Do not be alarmed, this is normal.

- Tsukishima, Suga, Asahi, Ennoshita, Shimizu, Yahaba, Kenma, 

The shake-offers. This type of sick person won’t acknowledge when they are sick and will attempt to force their way through the day with a combination of medication and sheer willpower. most likely to fall asleep in the middle of a conversation or fall over while standing still. Usually seen staring into the abyss and contemplating nothingness. Closely resembles a drunk person. Stay close to them and be prepared to baby them when they inevitably get more sick and refuse to stay in bed.

- Iwaizumi, Hinata, Kageyama, Noya, Yachi, Yaku, Bokuto,

Kyoutani gets sick and is all whiny and Yahaba comes over to take care of him and is super sweet and pets his hair and makes him soup

But when Kyoutani goes over to take care of Yahaba he is greeted by death himself who needs nothing but the sweet embrace of misery

Kageyama and Hinata competing over how ‘not sick’ they are until they both just pass out

Akaashi is so clingy and whiny when he’s sick and it’s the cutest thing ever

Yachi just kinda stumbles around and slurs her words and falls asleep leaning against a wall and someone has to carry her home

Ahh! it’s already New Year’s Eve and I haven’t done all the parts I wanted! I guess I’m just gonna cram them all into this post, so it may be a bit long. I was going to do one last night but i was out for longer than i expected. But let’s hurry, before the new year!(yes i’m cutting some people out, I’m sorry, if you wanna add them yourself I’d really appreciate it)

Kuroo- his resolution is to actual apply himself to all of his classes and not take naps whenever he gets bored

Kenma- he forgot to make a resolution he was too focused on the new pokemon game

Kai- he wants to travel more in the upcoming year

Yaku- he wants to work on his ‘violent tendencies’ as Kuroo calls them, he shouldn’t just kick his problems in the shins

Lev- he wants to be super best friends with Yaku forever

Yamamoto- he wants to work on getting riled up so easily because if he’s gonna be captain, he needs to keep his cool

Inuoka- he’s gonna work out more and he’ll be HARDCORE and COOL 

Bokuto-”AAAAAKKKKAAASSSSHHHHHHHHIIIIIIII!!! I’M GONNA CALL YOU EVERY DAY!!!!”

Akaashi- now that Bokuto’s graduating, he’ll have a lot of freetime so he wants to read more, maybe pick up a new hobby

Ushijima- he has a long list of anime and manga that Tendou’s given him to read/watch and he will do it for sure

Tendou- his resolution is to stay in touch with everyone from Shiratorizawa and bug them all as much as possible

Goshiki- HE WILL BE THE GREATEST ACE

Shirabu- he thinks new years resolutions are stupid because no one ever really sticks to them and really, they’re just a corportate propaganda to-(”SHUT UP!!!”-Shiratorizawa collectively

Semi- he wants to get a fucking girlfriend already goddamn he’s so lonely

Reon- he wants to spend more time with his mom and little sisters

Terushima- “I’LL BE RESPONSIBLE HANA I SWEAR!”

Aone- he wants to get Hinata’s phone number so they can hang and HE WILL DO IT

Futakuchi- “you should try and be less of an asshole!” “you  don’t even go here anymore Kamasaki!”

Koganegawa- he’s gonna be so damn COOL

Sakunami- He’s not gonna kill Koganegawa he’s not gonna kill Koganegawa he’s NOT GONNA KILL KOGANEGAWA
