I finally got everything mounted up. I need to decide what exhaust to put on this bad boy. When life doesn't seem to be going your way, jut work on a moped.

I've been riding this stock honda hobbit for a few years. It's been a blast, but It's time for a change. In the bottom picture you can see that I cut off the motor mount and placed it on a General 5 star frame that I picked up from Aaron Fogg in Memphis. Other upgrades include:

Fully rebuilt engine, auto retarding CDI, Dr 70cc kit, Moped Factory variator weights, 18" front wheel, hydraulic forks and aftermarket shocks. This is going to be a fun riding season. Time to break out the old MIG welder.

I have been teaching myself how to use AutoDesk Inventor. The program is just like autocad, but my brain doesn't want to crack like an egg when I use it. The first part I designed is pretty basic. It was a basic exercise in using the extrusions, chamfers, embossing and work planes. Of course I had to make a part for my moped. Why not? Now it's time for the 3D printer.
