It's our 8th year of this event and we can't wait to get started.

My surface is so tough

The next Kingdom Hearts OC Week is coming up fast! It will officially take place August 1st-7th, which means the prompts will be revealed in just another week! Without giving too much away, we're following the tradition from last year with the Worlds Tour and we thought it might be fun to include everyone in deciding the final two worlds. What does a Worlds Tour mean? Well that basically means that every day of KHOC Week, the prompt will be focused on a world from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. We have the first five days situated, but the final two are still up for the picking! Which is where you come in!

Kingdom Hearts IV trailer

Grisaille is a story set around a fallen keyblade master, Nimue, and her quest to take revenge on her ex-fiance, Yen Sid. After being trapped in the Realm of Darkness for 30 years, she makes a pact with the equally shamed sorcerer, Merlock, to work together to find Yen Sid and bring him down. All the while Sora is beginning his journey and Yen Sid has called upon the talents and bravery of Max, PJ, Roxanne, Stacey and Bobby to act as damage control to help the new key bearer (and Donald and Goofy) along in his quest to save the worlds.

Grisaille is meant to have a tone similar to the KH games and many characters from late 80s and early 90s animation show up! (I'm a huge fan of Gargoyles so expect a LOT of influence from that show). Grisaille follows KH's storyline and timeline but is more of a 'behind the scenes' plot that focuses on themes of balance between light and dark, the cycle of revenge, light being misused, and villains experiencing love and friendship but not quite becoming 'good'.

The first story's rough draft is still being worked on, and I'm hoping to start making an animatic for the prologue soon!

I legit did not think I'd finish this monstrosity in time, but HUZZAH!!! 💜 Here's Xigbar and Xana on a date to the arcade! This is 100% based off a fanfic I commissioned from my friend @hinataoc where Xigbar takes Xana to the arcade, but she doesn't realize right away that it's supposed to be a date! 🤭 It's so cute and wholesome! I need to post it to this account soon~🌟
