Himayat requests the Prime minister to relocate Nizamās jewels to Hyderabad!
Himayat Ali Mirza, a descendant of the Royal family of the Nizam. By profession, Himayat is a businessman and is passionate about real estate. He is the great-grandson of Mir Osman Ali Khan ( the last ruler of Hyderabad). Mirza went to the United States of America for completing his studies but returned to India to handle his family business and continue the legacy of his ancestors. Himayat is also a business partner of Fern Heights, a royal project in Hyderabad.Ā
Himayat Ali Mirza and his uncle Prince Muffakham Jah were present when the Government of India took over the Jewels of Nizam for a sum of INR 217 crore in Mumbai. The value of these jewels presently is more than INR 1,00,000 crore.Ā
Himayat Ali Mirza requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to relocate the jewels to Telangana and proposed a museum for the Jewels with all security measures. He also asked the Chief Minister of Telangana Shri. K Chandrashekar built a unique museum for showcasing the Nizamās jewels to the world.Ā
The Government of India accepted the proposal and issued orders to the Union Minister of Tourism to relocate the treasures. Also, Himayat suggested building the museum on the Nizamās land, present in different parts of the city. According to Himayat, this will generate employment for the stateās people and help Hyderabad become a tourist spot.Ā
Himayat Ali Mirza has always been open to helping people despite any boundaries. During the pandemic, many people were jobless, lost their close ones and suffered a lot, even for one-time food. Himayat desperately wanted to help such needy people of the society, and he came up with the idea of the HM Foundation.Ā
Himayat laid the HM Foundation with the motto of helping the needy people of society.
