hey, anon ! i’m not sure where you read that information, but no, not all adopted children need to be poc. if you check our family list you will see that we actually have white adopted children already.

it’s been a full day of getting things sorted for me, but i’ve finally found the time to sit down and be here ! i would love to accept some apps while i’m around. we’d love to see more parents here and our wanted connections too !

i said to a friend when i first started creating it that i imagined it kind of as a combination of gossip girl and desperate housewives, but not as problematic. all the families (unless they’ve recently moved here) exist with in the same social circle and a lot of them have grown up knowing each other forever. it’s kind of a running theme with hillston that most people who live there tend not to leave, and the parents encourage their kids to stick around. it’s a kind of town where the people are always at the country club, always at a luncheon followed by a white party followed by an after party. everybody is always in each other’s business, and that’s why there is a certain amount of pressure to appear perfect in order to avoid scandal.
