Remember those times between 2008 and 2015 when fics were at their peak?

By 2022 all those pages are barely a memory. Ao3 and others have disappeared from the map to give the space to Wattpad.

I remember with nostalgia the nights I spent reading on FanFiction.Net. It was a companion in dark times of my life. Sometimes I wonder what will become of those authors who left their stories on hiatus. Those friends I made between reviews talking about chapters. Those were good times.

But what doesn't advance with time gets left behind. And so was FanFiction.Net. A friend. A savior. The creator of many writers and readers.

I caught up on Boku no Hero and I just have to say brother, how this manga hurts.
