While discussing the fight between Bill and Kathy Trent before this scene where Bill and Vincent talk, it suddenly occurred to everyone on set that we needed to see that moment with Kathy because it could be something special. So the scene was wrapped before the camera ever rolled and an incredible new scene was written on the side of the road.

2019.06.09 Steve Cassling returns to the set to reprise his role of Vincent in Season 2. There are many surprising new revelations for his character and it’s exciting to explore in these first scenes even though not a word of dialogue is uttered. As effortless as ever, these scenes were a pleasure to create.

Maggie Regalado and Chris’ scenes are full of surprises and wonderful improvisations. Though Tyler Sloan is a frightening sociopath, Chris breathes so much warmth and personality into the character that is only magnified by Maggie’s presence. They play off each other effortlessly as if they’ve had a lifetime of working together.

HIGH: Season 2 begins at The Other Room at No Name Pizza in Big Bear City, CA. A storage closet has been converted into a storeroom in the back of a record store by hauling in massive amounts of records and audio equipment. The incomparable Christopher Pennock of Dark Shadows fame returns to the set to bring Tyler Sloan back to life. Gaghagen and Pennock in the same room is an electric chemistry, even if Steve is assisting behind the camera for these scenes.
