high school never ends

so the ring is now open to all

meaning you can rp with outside blogs and such because we dont do much here anymore

we may have a spring break event who knows aha

this ring has been dead for a few days, so i am booting it back up. as a mod and current student, i know the outside world can be consuming. but that does not mean we should let this place die!!!!!

a lot of blogs are up for "suspension"/"expulsion" due to inactivity, but i will let it slide because none of us mods have been doing that great of a job at maintaining our own. add on + 1 week to make your blog active in some shape or form, or we will either suspend (meaning you have contact us in forty eight hours after the suspension list has been posted to either apply for hiatus or leave the ring entirely :/) or expel (no contact after forty eight hours; the character will return up for grabs) the blog.

as i suggested earlier on, queuing things up that are relative to your character is HIGHLY appreciated and welcomed. jazz/the resident vriska has been doing a really good job about that, and i applaud her. i realize that not all of us are as free as others and can't sit down and RP every day/weekend, and that queuing up things like that, or headcanons, or mini-scenes (it could be about your character's day or something) would suffice.

about: it's the weekend before school starts up and both schools are having a (not-so-friendly) bonfire together! what could possibly go wrong???

when: saturday, january 12th. all day event so it can be timezone friendly!

i know everyone's been getting back to work/school/etc this week, so most group events and RPs may be strictly for weekends for now. that's understandable! however, that does not mean your blogs has to be inactive. queuing things in relation to your character is 100% fine, and it doesn't matter if it's just one post a day, as long as the blogs don't go completely inactive.

if a blog is inactive for two weeks, we will put the character back up for grabs. if you have personal matters (ex: work/school/sickness/internet issues/etc) then you will need to tell at least one of the mods that you need to be placed on hiatus and how long you need it for. this is a slowly growing great group of people, and it would really suck to have to lose your place in it.

Kankri's a pretty calm guy. He is really catious of "triggering" others, and so to keep from doing so he'll go out of his way to warn people. (For example he'll say "Trigger Warning, language" If he uses a curse.) He loves his younger brother Karkat but is always nit picking at him. He is also subject to long lectures. Sometimes going on and on about a topic like the usage of hair conditioner or the importance of abstinence. He is also the hall monitor, which gives him a change to critique his peers. Kindly, of course.

As Kingsley said, “Basically, I’m a fearless, independent bitch on the Internet and a shy, friendly slut in real life.”  I always seem to feel like the odd one out anywhere, but I like to embrace it and be myself.  I’m generally kind and tolerant, but there are times where I want to scream at somebody out of frustration.  I’m smart and am in most of the Honors classes at my school.  I’m really sensitive than most people and I hate HATE HATE ONE DIRECTION.  I also like to rant a lot about pop culture.

I see Aranea as a little like myself: nice and considerate to everyone and often trying to avoid conflict, but if pushed she can go crazy.  She’s always willing to stand up for her true friends and help them out.  She likes to talk a lot, and to others she seems like a know-it-all.  However, people like her a lot for the gossip she seems to know about.  She’s very dedicated in her studies, leading her to spend all that time in the library.  Because of that fact, some people also see her as kind of a loner.
