Heya~ Can I ask for Kuroo meeting his s/o at some sort of comicon where he was only to accompany Kenma, and discovering like that that the s/o is actually a huge nerd? Like, even pretty well known among the partecipants maybe
Now I want December to come quick so I can go to anime con and spoil myself rotten with buying manga and merchandise ;3; I also apologize if this seemed off, but it sounded way better in my head asdfghjkl also please beat in mind that I’m currently playing AC3, though I’m reading books of AC, yet I didn’t come very far “Orz -admin Nooooo
Kuroo had no idea how Kenma managed to convince him, yet here he was, surrounded with cosplayers from movies to video games. For some reason he was really glad Kenma wasn’t cosplaying or he would have lost him somewhere in this crowd and he definitely doesn’t have any intention on searching for him.
“Ah, Kuroo,” Kenma seemed to remember something. Kuroo raised an eyebrow when Kenma turned to him. “There is someone I’d like to see. I promised them if I come I’ll meet them.”
“Sure,” Kuroo smiled. He followed his childhood friend through the crowd until they reached a group of people surrounding a person. He blinked in confusion when Kenma disappeared between the group and appeared by your side before he took a double look, seeing that his childhood friend felt comfortable around you.
Kuroo looked around, seeing few taking photos of you as you were dressed as ... were you cosplaying as Aguilar, from Assassin’s Creed movie? His eyes only grew wider when he saw how detailed your costume was, from the hoodie to their boots, it seemed like the Assassin himself was standing in the middle.
Before he knew it, Kenma was standing in front of him, with you looking at Kuroo in slight amusement. Kenma gave him a confused look and Kuroo coughed, his cheeks tainted bright red.
“You must be Kuroo,” You smiled and reached out your hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“I like you.” Kuroo blurted out in puzzlement and before he realized what he just did, Kenma was face palming as you stared at him, unsure what to say. His eyes widened as he began waving with hands, apologizing and sputtering nonsense. “I-I meant y-your cost...yeah I meant your er...costume, yeah...It’s-it’s A-Aguilar, right?”
You chuckled. “Thank you and yes, it’s Aguilar.” You said and looked at Kenma, who was looking at Kuroo all baffled. “You didn’t tell me your friend knew about Assassin’s Creed.” You narrowed your eyebrows.
“Well, he certainly does surprise me sometimes.” He commented.
“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?” Kuroo glared at Kenma, who shrugged as you burst out laughing. The sound of your laughter made Kuroo stare at you in puzzlement, unsure what to do, less alone to say, but he wanted to hear more.
“Kuroo, you look like an idiot.” Kenma said and Kuroo snapped his head at his friend with a glare before he realized they were both standing alone. “Before you say anything, let’s go to the quiz. [Name] is participating since they’re cosplaying as an Assassin.”
“There is quiz?” Kuroo perked up.
“Yes and just...don’t freak out.” Kenma glanced at him from the side when Kuroo gave him a skeptical look. “Their knowledge on Assassin’s Creed is...amazing, which is also one of the reasons they’re so popular.” he shortly explained and Kuroo nodded.
They walked inside and saw you were already sitting by a desk, talking with another cosplayer of Assassin’s Creed. There were few more cosplayers and they all had costume to the last detail, yet somehow you still managed to get most of Kuroo’s attention.
Kuroo wasn’t listening to the questions or answers, yet he always seemed to hear your answer in a detail that made Kenma wonder if it was a bad idea to bring him along. There was a small smile of amusement on his lips whenever he saw his friend gape at a group that seemed to be your fanclub. Just how famous were you.
“Kenma, you still here!” You smiled widely and rushed to your friend’s side before you looked at Kuroo. “So...I have a question for you.” You grinned when you saw Kuroo flinch.
“Y-yeah?” He chirped and cursed himself for sounding so...so damn weak in your presence, but god you made him feel wonders just by seeing you from afar.
“Who is your favourite character from Assassin’s Creed?” You asked, leaning on Kenma, who didn’t even seemed to mind.
Kuroo was slightly confused by your question and he looked at Kenma, who also seemed confused. “Uh...” he scratched the back of his neck, thinking. Tilting head to the side, Kuroo narrowed his eyebrows. He knew there was a trick in this question. He smirked, making you raise an eyebrow. “You probably expect me to say Ezio, but got to disappoint you, dear, I like Edward Kenway.”
“Ho?” You smirked. “How so?”
“Well, simple,” He began. “He started with having no regard for anyone, he just wanted to make money, but later on in the game, you see change in Edward as he shows remorse and sympathy and becomes a loving father. Furthermore, he is confident and daring and is quite the bad-ass since he has no fears. Also, he has a huge variety of skills. He is quite the daring and intellectual individual and provokes a nice sensation when playing as Edward. All in all, a great assassin/pirate.” He felt himself smirk when he saw your eyes wide along with Kenma, who seemed dumbstruck.
You were speechless. You didn’t know what to say except stare at Kuroo, who seemed really smug with his explanation.
Kuroo’s smirk widened at your expression that turned from surprise to amusement before you leaned to Kenma and whispered something in his ear. He startled when he saw Kenma’s eyes glint. “W-what?” he stuttered.
“Oh, nothing,” You smiled sweetly and looked at Kenma, who nodded. “I just...need to go.” You said and walked to Kuroo, who took a step back. Staring straight into his eyes, you licked your upper lip, a gesture that made Kuroo shudder along with sudden closeness. “I like you and I hope we see each other more.” You grinned and before Kuroo could process what you said, he felt pair of lips on his cheeks before all he saw was your back disappearing in crowd.
He stood there frozen, Kenma staring at him with expressionless gaze, but he knew better. “What did they tell you?” He asked.
“You think I’ll tell you?” Kenma raised an eyebrow and smirked. “You’ll see.” He turned and began walking. “We better go if we want to catch the train home.”
Kuroo blinked and looked at the time. It was already late. When did it become so late? They spent whole day at the con and Kuroo didn’t even realize it.
“Hey, Kenma wait up!” He called and rushed after his childhood friend. “Why don’t you tell me? What did they say? Kenma!”
