I don't know if it's obvious but I really like drawing Hide getting flustered and rediscovering over and over again that Kaneki is strong.

Kaneki smiled at that thought and went to grab for his novel again. That was when he heard cheering coming from the television. He looked up to see shots of a crowd seated around an ice rink. Apparently, the channel Hide left the television on was airing a figure skating event. “And now let’s get back to the Japan Junior Figure Skating Championships!” a male reporter’s voice announced. “You’re currently watching the men’s singles discipline! Let’s see who’s next on the ice!”

Kaneki wasn’t really one to care for any kind of sport; but his breath hitched a little when a young man—not much older than himself—appeared on the screen. His black hair was slicked back, accentuating a slightly round face and large brown eyes.

A lovely shade of brown Kaneki found to be quite captivating.
