Larissa survives the poison and is put on indefinite leave by the school board which was kind of them you say, until they somehow hire Larissa's dad Merrick to restore Nevermore's architectural damage. Via the insistence of Barry Dort who is one of the board members "close friend" aka that guy is part of morning song.

Why via Barry of bad choices you say, well despite his make nevermore great again™ and back to outcast roots, he also wants to modernize™ the old and beautiful architecture. And Merrick Weems is the leading figure in UK modernism

Larissa only finds this out when she goes to Nevermore to get her things and jumpscare father Weems was there. And surprisingly he acknowledges Larissa's existence. He actually strikes up a conversation and Larissa is feeling awkward as hell

Turns out it took his daughter almost dying for Merrick to be like "oh yeah i have a daughter hmmmm maybe I should talk to her more"

Larissa however is having none of this and fights the modernism attempts on nevermore but also tries to avoid her dad whenever possible

One day she goes to the weathervane and a wild Morticia appears and sits across her. Oh no she didn't escape one awkward situation onto the next. But it turns out Morticia is ALSO running away from her parents, which her dad who she hasn't seen since her wedding 30 years ago randomly shows up on her mother's doorstep like nothing happened

They bond over their fathers showing up out of nowhere and it's like they were back in highschool complaining about their parents. then suddenly Larissa's mom Loraine appears. She does the "is this yuri" stare between them. Larissa is mortified and tries to politely shoo her own mother, she leaves but squints at them while holding a croissant.

So the episode is just morticia and larissa trying to avoid their parents in increasingly ridiculous ways which you guessed it, results in closer and closer proximity between them. And old woman Yuri™. While fighting for historical restoration of nevermore

Larissa's parents are actively trying to reinsert themselves into her life in all the wrong ways. Morticia's dad has mysterious motives and also keeps asking why Morticia got divorced.

"Did you even watch the show?🤓" I DID. DID YOU? DID YOU WATCH THE SHOW?

Feed my delusions, but Larissa Weems being the woman she is (a purebread lesbian) she must've fancied Thornhill, even though it's quite evident that fake-a-ginger did not fancy Weems other than inside a coffin six feet under.

Why else would Weemsy keep Thornhill so close? AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE RAVE'N.

AND OKAY. SHE DROVE Larissa to the train station when Larissa was pretending to be Rowen and leaving. Marilyn intervened fast when Wednesday tried to talk to Rowen before leaving and said she wasn't allowed to talk to him.

However. Larissa would not just go and tell everyone in the staff that she's a shapeshifter. (At least I doubt it) BUT SHE CONFESSED TO MARILYN about being bitter about her last Rave'n about Morticia "stealing her crush." (still think she had a crush on Morticia back then)
