the thing about being an ex-suicidal person is that those thoughts never really leave you. like now whenever i get mildly distressed my brain is like “maybe we should get in the sea and never get out” like bitch NO!!!! we dont do that anymore!!!!!!!

People denigrate fast food jobs as the lowest of the low that supposedly don’t deserve to be able to afford to live whenever minimum wage changes are discussed. Yet they’ll still get a sex worker fired for daring to work there as well.

forgiving what exactly?

Forgiving the fact that they’re people who are working through their past, like you, and will occasionally project their past traumas on you the way you might with them. Forgiving yourself, because growth takes time, and learning to be a pair is more work than just being on your own. Having partners you trust to forgive those moments where you might fall, help you back up and move forward, in my opinion, builds up the trust and love you need for a thriving relationship.
