New Donloe headcanon because I am low key always thinking about him.

Early on in his exile, he decides to just keep his head down and do his job for a few years, and then apply for a transfer back to the mainland. There are CIA channels he can go through that won't ever reach Kittridge’s desk. If he's smart about it, if he doesn't make waves, doesn't call any attention to himself, maybe Donloe can get off this island and get back to civilization. Maybe he even prints out a transfer application and keeps it on hand for when he thinks enough time has passed that he can slip it in under the radar.

After he and Tapeesa get together, Donloe shreds the transfer application. I love the idea that the Bill Donloe we meet in TFR is still on St. Matthew Island by choice.
