Now, some of it is cultural (and it’s not my culture obviously, so it would probably be better for me to stfu) but some of it is just fans needing to fucking touch grass. I would love it if every idol suddenly decided to say “fuck it, here’s my partner/fuck buddy/whatever.” Because at the very least fandoms would lose some of their worst fans.
It is fine to find these people attractive, and be fun/silly delulu about them, but anyone actually having an issue with them being in consenting adult relationships needs to get a grip.
