You start looking for that same pattern because it is all you know, it's familiar. You don't always realize you're damaging yourself.

I never really felt like my voice was heard, or that my feelings mattered to anyone beyond myself.

Something in me said, “Start a blog.”

I’m not sure if anyone will read this, or if anyone will even care. But maybe someone will come across this space and feel a little less alone.

This is a place for me to talk honestly. A space that is open, free, and safe — for me to just be myself.

I’ve been through a lot, and right now I’m hitting a wall mentally. I’m not okay — but I also don’t want to give up.
