In Shattered Glass, Starscream is worshipful of Megatron to the point of practically mooning over him like a lovestruck teenager. He calls him “magnificent leader” and similar titles all of the time with utter sincerity. In one of the stories he gets very fussing and protective when Megatron is injured. In another he reacts with horror at the thought of having to leave Megatron behind stranded on Cybertron due to circumstances while he and the others go to Earth, and when he’s forced to anyway he gets mopey about it. Then in the recent comics when Megatron is killed, Starscream throws himself on Megatron’s body and wails about why couldn’t it have been himself that was killed instead.

"Hmm, agreed," he says, his words fading into a huge yawn. Feeling suddenly warm like a babe in his creators’ arms, he makes a small noise not unlike a whine as he stretches his wings and snuggles into Starscream, actually in danger of dozing off this time. "Will you recharge here with me tonight then?"

A chuckle releases from Starscream, "Of course I'll stay here and recharge with you." (Even though still a tad.. nervous but hes like that towards a lot of things right now). Starscream snuggles his leader right back, arms wrapping around his frame, relaxing. Watching the other slowly begin to doze off, which isn't a surprise but his own mind keeps running and running; off on its own tangents, thinking of something else, switching from one topic to another, off and on. He's not able to control it but sooner or later, he'll eventually fall into recharge.

Megatron curls his body so Starscream can better fit within its shape, his neck bent and his forehead resting just a bit above the flier’s. He lets his optics offline for a while, though his hands move in gentle stroking motions now and then, signaling that he was indeed still awake. “Though you don’t remember everything yet, I’m glad to have you back….Mm, and I’m loathe to move. How big of a difference does washing tonight or tomorrow morning make to you?” he asks with a wry laugh.

He notices that Megatron's optics have gone offline but is reassured that he wasn't. His mind ponders on certain things, not unusual given he is still at a block with those memories not being there. As Megatron speaks, he is pulled back into reality again. Smiling in response but he doesn't know exactly what to say or what to bring up- probably not now but later on when they were not in bliss. "It doesn't matter Megatron. I'm fine with waiting till later." Chuckling, "I'm actually rather comfortable and too lazy to get up and I'm sure you're the same. Am I right?"
