Here's the thing, Dennis, regardless of where he's been in life knows better than to fuck with the supernatural. He wouldn’t say he's fully given up on religion, but since leaving broken bow, going through a theology minor, and working in a top level ED, he might say his and God’s relationship is a bit strained. That being said he’d like to think he would never be stupid enough to tempt fate and provoke some ancient demon who is said to have killed people or something. Unfortunately, on this random Friday night that's what he seems to be doing. Trinity and him had managed to snag four days off in order to go on a mini vacation and just road trip for fun. Between her second year and his intern year they were more than run ragged and decided hours of singing, random fast food, and shitty tourist traps was exactly what they needed. It's just that Trinity has recently gotten them into those true crime/supernatural podcasts so apparently they just had to stop by a haunted house. He doesn’t even know where she got the “ghost hunting” devices. And the cherry on top is he's pretty sure that Trinity doesn’t even believe in the stuff, she just wants to see him squirm. 

“Trinity come on… I don’t even think were allowed to be here” 

“oh relax, huckleberry,” scoffed trinity, as she looked around the corner with a flashlight “I already checked and technically it's open to the public” 

“Yeah, during daylight hours!” 

“Oh stop your complaining, and get started on the script I wrote for you.” Trinity handed Dennis a thick stack of papers, and started fumbling with her old camcorder. 

“Are you– ARE YOU FILMING THIS?!” Dennis didn’t think this night could get any worse

“Hey you never know wha–” Trinity never got to finish her statement, as a loud crash rang out above them, drawing their attention. Above, in the very empty and abandoned second floor.

Grabbing his arm, Trinity turned back towards Dennis with what could only be described as a shit eating grin, “oh we are about to have so much fun.”

The ones that don't experience medical violence then, likely experience it as a teenager.

I didn't.

I am very rare in that I did not experience medical violence.

Why? Because I learned what intersexuality was as a young age, and I actively fought against what doctors wanted to do to me. All the way down to legal research on what medical care minors can be forced into. I remember walking into that doctor's appointment with the state law written down that proved that if I did not consent they could not do surgery.
