It shocks me how I wish for…what is lost and cannot come back.

Prophecy tells what may be, not what should be.

As time goes on, you’ll understand. What lasts, lasts; what doesn’t, doesn’t. Time solves most things. And what time can’t solve, you have to solve yourself.

The axe forgets; the tree remembers.

We live in a world where we are told to be ourselves, but judged for who we are.

The problem with patience and discipline is that it requires both of them to develop each of them.

I love unmade beds. I love when people are drunk and crying and cannot be anything but honest in that moment. I love the look in people’s eyes when they realize they’re in love. I love the way people look when they first wake up and they’ve forgotten their surroundings. I love the gasp people take when their favorite character dies. I love when people close their eyes and drift to somewhere in the clouds. I fall in love with people and their honest moments all the time. I fall in love with their breakdowns and their smeared makeup and their daydreams. Honesty is just too beautiful to ever put into words.

…I was thinking too much about how I didn’t want you to go…I didn’t want to kiss you goodbye — that was the trouble — I wanted to kiss you good night — and there’s a lot of difference.

The person who broke you can’t be the one to fix you. Remember that.

If you don’t know, the thing to do is not to get scared, but to learn.

I always find myself comforting people with the words I want to hear.

I think the real victory will come when characters can be incidentally gay without it having to become the focus of the story line or the audience’s attention.
