2. Taking pride in spending an entire day doing laundry, cleaning the apartment, folding socks
3. Realizing there’s a reason my mom’s bathroom and bedroom and everything smells so nice and maybe I should listen more

5. Realizing men have nothing to offer me right now, and taking myself out of the game entirely
6. Realizing how important it is to commit--to any train of thought, belief, or idea, to survival, self preservation, and no more dating or fucking with/fucking anyone who isn’t careful with my heart
7. Listening to Yes Please, Bossypants, and Mindy Kaling’s memoirs at night like bedtime stories
8. Wondering if I’m too old to do a baby voice with my family, or sleep with stuffed animals, but not caring either way
9. Understanding that I have built myself up for the past year or so, pumped myself up with a year long pep talk, but it is now time to actually put the work out there, and see what sticks

23. “Your thoughts are precious to you, and you alone”, edit your speech and don’t worry that someone doesn’t know you because you haven’t told them everything you’re thinking or doing right now--you exist in your actions and energy, not just your words even though you’re good at words. Be better at silence, and when to choose it.
